When I tell you these men got my house feeling right again!!! I called them Wednesday afternoon and by Thursday morning they were already out at my house. Very responsive , generous and explained everything in detail to me about what was going on with our A/C unit. They do quality work and are very easy to talk to. Workers should up asking what to do even though I gave a very detailed description of all work and they had been there a year plus ago to do the same job. That was annoying. I agreed upon a price and date for work and they never showed up. I repeatedly called, texted and emailed-nothing.

We had another tough summer for air conditioning. Our downstairs (main) air conditioning unit went out a few weeks ago after our upstairs went out last year. YOUNG BUCKS HEATING AND AIR installed both Trane units. We could not be happier. If you have A/C issues or need a new unit installed, they are fantastic!!! This duo is the best around. Got quotes from a number of well established companies in Austin and these guys beat them all, and it wasn't at the expense of quality. These guys came out three times, the second two of which were on extremely short notice, to get my mini split installed and working correctly. They fixed electrical shortcomings that were done by a licensed electrician and smiled throughout the whole process. Will absolutely use them again on all future projects, can't recommend them enough.

I will definitely use this team of professionals again. My neighbors recommended them and they were on point. Responsive, friendly and professional. They offer good, quality service and a fair price to diagnose and take care of my hvac troubles.

These guys are amazing. Our air conditioner went out and the entire system needed to be replaced. The price was the best I could find. Their service and professionalism was beyond 100%. I called Young Bucks on the Sunday before Memorial Day at the suggestion of a neighbor and these guys exceeded my expectations.

They came out on the same day, diagnosed the problem, and got our mini split AC system running again.

Adrian and Omar were friendly, efficient, and professional. They came out within 12 hours of us calling about our AC not working properly - in the middle of August! They identified the problem and fixed it without trying to sell us on any additional work. I really appreciate that!! They are our new go-to AC company!

Great communication and customer service. They answer their phone (what a concept!) it is refreshing to reach a service provider when you need one. They came a little earlier than their scheduled appointment and went right to work to diagnose my broken A/C. They evaluated both units and explained what was wrong in layman’s terms then went right to repairing it. Our A/C works great now. Professional & knowledgeable small locally owned business! I will definitely use again.

As a first time homebuyer and nervous of let's face it... literally everything that can go wrong, let's just say I am happy to have their contact info in hand. During the current and recent winter freeze, my heater stopped working - I called Oscar before 8am about the issue, they arrived in 15-20 minutes because I was on their route, and they fixed the issue immediately and told me the next steps in case it happens again during cold weather. I am lucky to have stumbled upon their company in my early morning search of warmth and safety - professional, kind, and efficient! 10/10 would call and hire them again for any other issues that arise concerning HVAC issues.

My AC was barely working on July 4 (only fails on holidays). I called Young Bucks that morning, hoping I could leave a message. Instead, Oscar answered the phone. He said they couldn't come out that day, but they would be there the next morning, July 5th.
Adrian came by around 9 AM. He did a quick inspection, figured out what was wrong (clogged drain line, my bad) and fixed it. He also noticed I had a capacitor that was under-performing, and replaced that also.
I can't say enough about the responsiveness and quality of work. I thought the price was very reasonable. I hope you will consider this business when your AC goes out on a very hot holiday.

I called Young Bucks around 3pm for a service call as my AC wasn't cooling. I received a call back in about 3 minutes and service early the next day. The gentlemen, Omar and Adrian, were very respectful and explained each step/problem as they went along. Very pleased with the professionalism, pricing, etc. Definitely recommend this company!

I called Young Bucks around 1:00 on a Saturday, temperatures peaking at 107. My AC fan (and cooling) was just buzzing, no cooling, no fan. I'd called two local Big HVAC Contractors, both recommended on NextDoor, neither able to get out until Tuesday PM. I get that. On the basis of a couple of recommendations, I reached out to the young lads at Young Bucks. They committed to coming by before 3, showed up (with notice) right on time. Could have told me my system was shot (distribution furnace and fan 29 years old, Ruud condenser 15 yrs old), but diagnosed the problem (distribution fan capacitor shot), replaced it, and our house is cooling as we speak. Oscar and his assistant were polite, professional, and most of all provided an honest assessment and reasonable repair. After they fixed the fan capacitor, they checked and confirmed the condenser cleanliness, capacitor and coolant level was on spec. They could have tried to up-sell me a whole new condenser and distribution system, but didn't. These guys have been around as independents for only a few years, but I am sold: When I need a replacement system or maintenance, I'll be calling Oscar, Pedro, and his team. Top Shelf. Oscar says he sells Ruud and Crane, both high-end, high-efficiency units, but was also flexible to go with more cost-conscious products.

Young Bucks HVAC is a family owned and run business. Pedro and Oscar started the business which is founded on the principles of honesty, fair pricing, prompt communication and delivering quality service and products to their clients. Additionally, they are a Green HVAC company, meaning any unit they replace, they take back to their shop, break down the unit and recycle all the parts and materials and will provide pictures back to the client if requested. Pedro came our on Labor Day because our AC unit had stopped working the prior Friday night. (He came out on a Holiday!). He diagnosed the problem, submitted the bid to the property management company (we rent a house) and within 3 hours of the bid being approved, he was out to the house and got us up and running with in an hour. 5 Stars on Communication, Professionalism and Service!

These guys AC! Family-owned shop small operation that works with FULL transparency. After getting two corporate technicians here and have them tell me how I needed to shell out 35 grand for two new units I decided to get a second opinion from a more locally owned shop. I called Oscar from young bucks, and he sent his 2 brothers to look at my unit, they changed a capacitor, and the AC unit was back to working perfectly! If you want your unit repaired first and replaced later call these guys. They will exhaust every repair option and if they all fail then they will suggest replacing the whole unit. Can't recommend them enough!!

Our AC unit had multiple electronic components knocked out after a power outage. It did take a while to diagnose due to multiple issues with the system, but they kept me informed every step of the way. Then they got the components and worked late into the evening to get us going. I really appreciate their dedication to the customer and would recommend them.

Pedro and Oscar made time to make a small duct correction and offer field diagnostics on an air handler. The work was prompt and courteous. I will use them again.

Myself and another woman were trying to change a flat tire in the parking lot where I work. Two perfect Gentlemen from Young Bucks drove by and noticed us struggling. They pulled in and changed the tire, explained to us how to do it safely in the future and totally saved the day. I think this is a true show of character and if I need any HVAC work in the future I will choose them. So nice to have meet such professional, sweet and kind people thanks ya'll.

Oscar and Pedro are the best. They've come to the rescue multiple times at my home and work. They're super nice and great about coming out very quickly, whereas most other companies say they'll get to you in a few days. That's just not acceptable when your AC breaks during summer in Austin, and these guys understand that.

What a terrific small-business company to have in your corner when service is required!
