I called and left a message on a Sunday and a rep from Austin’s Green AC called me back that same day to set up an appointment on Monday.
Sonny, their technician showed up on time, was friendly and helpful and very service and customer oriented. He explained what he was doing, suggested service options, and was extremely helpful in helping me decide what made the most sense for my situation and budget Super pro. Super helpful.

They showed up on time but I did not use your service. Courteous when I decline service. I appreciated that. Went back to Air Flow and that service was of high quality and they added significant value to my concrns.

Travis was our technician. He came on time and was very thorough and knowledgeable. We are a commercial site, so we did have to call our property maintenance for a few things and Travis was very patient with that situation.

the second time in less than a week and the really messed up. they did not do a complete job despite two tries. End result is that the water line that was supposed to be plugged was not. no explanation. travis plugged one line and left one open that was still leakin end result is thousands of dollars worth of damage to the insulation and ceiling of myth 95 year old office building. it took a plumber to figure out where travis screwed up. now i have to tear out at least 36 sq ft of sheet rock, and the insulation that was on top of it plus mold remediation. the effort does not merit a star. but i am forced to give them a star to post the review i hope they have insurance to cover this because my insurance is going to want to subrogate the damages. i am so disappointed. bunch o screwups a nano accountability. . Pre-Installation:
As a former commercial electrician turned software engineer, I had been maintaining my aging HVAC system for years until it finally gave out. When I called and spoke with a technician, we quickly confirmed that I had done everything possible to extend the system's life. The condenser fan motor was experiencing hard starts and drawing over 100 amps on startup. I had already installed a hard start kit and replaced the capacitors, so there wasn't much left to do. We scheduled a full system replacement.

Installation:
I chose the American Standard 4-Ton SEER 15 unit--same manufacturer as my previous 33-year-old Trane. The crew arrived promptly at 9:05 AM and began with the outdoor condenser, which I appreciated since my wife and kids were still getting ready to leave. I work from home and checked in occasionally as the work progressed.

During installation, the team discovered mold growth above the evaporator coils and offered to clean and seal the area with bleach and rubber sealant, which I really appreciated. They also added a disconnect at the outdoor condenser--something not included in the original quote. Throughout the process, they provided helpful insights into the latest improvements American Standard made to their units this year, optimal filter sizes to increase airflow and tips for maintaining the unit.

By the afternoon, the installation was complete, and my home was livable again. They're not some big-box company that just does the bare minimum, they adapted to what issues arose from removing a unit decades old and made choices that would result in the best outcome for the customer.

Summary:
These guys go above and beyond and I couldn't recommend them enough.

Travis showed up early and ready to go. He expertly replaced the furnace control board and my system is up and running. I like his honest and no nonsense approach to explaining how these systems work. Thanks for the repair.

Andrea and her team (we had Travis) were super professional, efficient and timely… “Johnny on the spot” when we needed them most. We are still working on resolving an issue with our ac/heating cassette system, but I am confident they will not stop til everyone is in tip top shape.

McCullough was extremely professional and friendly. I made a late night call and they came to my house after hours to ensure we could sleep in A/C. Their service was phenomenal!

We had an issue with our five year old AC. Two companies came out, and told us we needed to replace the entire system. Prices were quoted that were in line with closing costs for a house!

Then McCullough came out.

Shawn stopped by during emergency hours and tried hard to get our unit going. He was so kind when he broke the news to us.

Evan and the installation team (Richard & Arthur) were hands down the best. Evan immediately set us up with our unit, explained options & called to plan our install that next morning. Richard & Arthur were organized, neat, just nice guys. They waited until our unit was performing as it should. They did not just install and leave. Local company with that local care. Amber (sales coordinator) assist me with my questions & she was extremely helpful.

Outstanding service. I had 3 business diagnosing my 12 yr old Goodman furnace with different outcomes: thermostat broken, failed control board. Henry, with Mccullough, came and did a thorough diagnostic concluding that rats had chewed one of the pipes connected to the pressure switch hindering flame to start. I couldn't recommend this business enough versus the amateur business I have worked before.

The customer service at this firm has really gone downhill. After 3 years of loyalty I canceled my service contract today. I don't know why you think I cancelled because you didn't call me. I left this review because you were planning to double charge me for my system maintenance if I cancelled my contract. I paid for the service during the year and you cancelled my appt. within the contract period. Because you couldn't come out for another 3 weeks and I would then be out of contract I was told you would charge me for the service I already paid for. That's not putting the customer first.
Update... I received an apology from management and was assured that I was misinformed and that their staff would be retrained to be sure this miscommunication didn't happen again.

What a fantastic experience! Our air conditioner stopped working and after meeting and getting a quote from a popular company we decided to get a second opinion on options and costs. Henry Harris knows his stuff! He- and the rest of the McCullough team- are professional, communicative, prompt and extremely knowledgeable. Henry was a pro and the company was great to work with and we didn’t feel “zip coded” in their quote. In less than 24hrs after meeting, our air conditioner was running, again. McCullough air conditioning has been our provider for years. We’re moving, and the inspector discovered an issue with one of the Plenum’s. McCulloch came right out and inspected it and then replaced it within a week. Harry was knowledgeable, professional, and very pleasant to work with.

My experience with McCullough is an A+. Most recently Charles has been to our home to inspect a non-working AC unit. He is professional & thorough in walking through issues and next steps. Amazing customer service.

Makayla was so professional and courteous when she came to our home to fix the unit. Because we are about to purchase a brand new system, including all new duct work, we were not charged for this repair.

Josh Henderson was exceptional. We called a different company before calling McCullough. After they learned our AC was nearing the end of its life, we suspected they inflated the repair quote to land the replacement project.

We called McCullough for a second opinion, and they sent Josh to provide a repair estimate. Josh was incredibly honest in his assessment and repaired our AC for a fraction of the other company’s price.

Through this process, we learned that many non-locally owned AC companies send salespeople posing as technicians to push large, costly projects. McCullough is locally owned, and they focus on diagnosing the real problem and quoting a fair repair cost.

Josh from McCullough was extremely helpful! He was knowledgeable, efficient, and did a fantastic job servicing the HVAC systems we have. He answered all of my questions clearly and explained the systems well. Highly recommended!
