Appliance Repair reviews in Dallas, Texas

Have a warrenty company that assigned us this repairman. Came to repair our fridge and left. Couple days later same issues started again. Called Georges a couple times to come back out. Never returned our call. Had the warrenty company call as well. No response. Shady behavior. Filed a complaint with the warrenty company. Do not use this company for your repairs.

I had a striker switch changed on my stove top. It worked while the technician was here. Minutes after he left I tried it again. The stove, light and fan were not working. I called the repair man and his advice was to check the breaker . When I told him that did nothing he suggested I call an electrician. His attitude and language used were not worth repeating but I would caution anyone before using this service. His text message to me was not to contact him again. Definitely in the running for the worst customer service experience.

Very rude over the phone told me it cost him $45 just to take my call for a quote. Poor customer service

Appliances aren’t what they used to be - they’re just not made to last anymore. So when you do have a problem this is the company to call. Fast, efficient, and very knowledgeable. He knew exactly what was wrong with my refrigerator by opening the door and giving it a quick inspection. This may sound strange - but he obviously knows appliances and all the problems associated with the different brands out there. It’s been over 3 years ago since my refrigerator was fixed and I’ve never had a problem since! I saved a lot of money because I didn’t have to buy a new one!

I would give no star based on my recent experience with Georges services.
John from Georges Services visited to repair dishwasher issue of dishes not getting cleaned. Rather than running diagnostic test and find out the dishwasher issue, he simply suggested to use powder. No diagnostic test was performed, no dishwasher test cycle run to identify the issue with the dishwasher. -
We've been using Georges Services for almost a year now for Dallas Property Management Pros. They are very reliable and we use them exclusively. We highly recommend Jim and his company for your appliance repairs.

I've had nothing but positive interactions with these technicians. Twice I've had them come out and repair two separate items. Never a bad interaction and always a quick and easy repair. I already recommend then to all my family, and wouldn't hesitate to do the same to anyone else.

Did not complete the work - replace turntable motor but not the microwave light bulb. When called them back to fix it, was very very rude and slammed the phone down in the middle of the conversation.
I am a realtor and I have never encountered this kind of response before.
Reads the other reviews and stay away. There is only one good review and lots of bewares. -
Just wanted to give a huge thank you to Mike. He helped in so many ways + was professional, kind, and was able to handle unexpected problems easily & quickly. Super friendly and knows his stuff on washing machine & dryer repair + other appliances! While no one ever wants to need appliance repair service, but if you do need it then be sure to ask for Mike!

Called them out to look at my dryer. Paid the $75 service fee, said they would contact me about timing and cost of timer repair the next day. Later realized I hadn't turned the "start" button on. They cashed my check and two weeks later still haven't heard from them regarding timer. Called them and was put on terminal hold. Shysters....avoid at all costs

Avoid them at all costs!!! Very rude and unprofessional. Had to have them come back to fix an issue they created. Then the owner called me and threatened me after I placed a complaint with my home warranty company who had contracted George's service. On top of that, to set up the first appointment they called me at 8pm on a Sunday night trying to schedule an 8am time the next day. The guy sounded offended when I told him that wouldn't work since I had to be at work. Talk about a bunch of jerks.

I had an amazing experience with this company. I got lucky and was able to get this company out the same day. My refridgerator had stopped working some time during the night. I called James right away and he was able to come out the same day. He also had the part I needed and was able to fix it right on the spot. I can't thank this company enough I was very impressed.

These guys have it going on! Bought a Samsung dryer a few months ago. Long story short, they were able to come out and fix it the same day. Very professional and quick. My dryer is still running strong! If your in the area use these people.

George’s Services was amazing! Same day service and had the parts needed to fix my parents refrigerator that was making noise and had stopped cooling. Thank you James! Your knowledge and professionalism will be called on again very soon!

When I have had something wrong with one of my appliances, Georges Services have been super helpful and informative. They did not try to up sale anything and informed me about the specific problems that were going on and gave me an accurate cost. I even went to them to ask about a new dishwasher I was wanting to buy. They gave me the top brands with the least amount of problems. Very reasonably priced and always on time when I had an appointment. Best service hands down

Terrible work and customer service, watch out for this company !
They fixed my dryer and after 6 weeks stopped work again. Technician said once fixed would go lifetime…I traveled out of the country and called them after I got back. It was 4 days after the service guarantee expired (3 months). They set up an appointment between 12 and 4pm and nobody show up. 4:30pm technician called saying couldn’t make it “on time”.
I called the company to reschedule and nobody answered…. Call got redirected to a rude guy who didn’t introduced himself and just said he wasn’t at the office and couldn’t reschedule me. I asked if he could give me the manager number so I could reschedule for tomorrow he asked if I wasn’t hearing ….
i hang up on him. He called back and left a bad message . just look for another provider, this company is very unprofessional and shady -
If you want fast, efficient, and friendly service George's Services is the way to go! He's been repairing appliances for 20 years so he for sure doesn't mess around. Also the cost didn't break the bank, and my refrigerator is as good as new! Thanks Georges!

My dishwasher stopped working and I asked George Services to look into the problem. They came in promptly and diagnosed as a faulty circuit board. They ordered a new one, however, it stopped working as well. A new circuit breaker board was ordered using the warranty before it was finally fixed. George is extremely knowledgeable in my opinion and the team in general is courteous and know their job.

When you call this business you get an answering machine. after three attempts I got a call back from James who said: "This is James from Appliance Repair, find another service. This conversation is over. Have a nice day." I guess they don't need the business. With an attitude like that I can't imagine what the service is like. Save yourself the time, take James' advice. Find another service.

Outstanding Service! John came to my house today and totally solved my Samsung refrigerator issue. He was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Additionally, he provided lots of good tips that will save me from repair issues in the future and possibly reduce any future service calls. This will translate into an increase of new customers as I will be telling everyone I know to use their services. Thanks John, and thanks Georges Services!!

TLDR: Fast, efficient, great scheduling, polite, great work, expensive.
Called for an appointment and showed up the same day, early in the morning. The repairs were done quickly, less than 10 minutes. Repairs were done well. Was easy to get a hold of after the fact for questions that i had concerning the repair and was polite and courteous. The only reason i am not giving a 5 star review is due to the cost. I am not well versed in the appliance repair industry, and any place i call simply tells me they wont be able to give me an estimate of any kind until after i pay them for a service call to look at the problem so i have no other frame of reference regarding cost. With that said, i was told that the cost of our part was the biggest reason our repairs were $380. I googled the part and found it from $140 to $50. I was told that they had to buy the $140 part for warranty reasons. Even if that's true, i find $240 for 10 minutes of work to be uncomfortably high.
