Constraction reviews in El Paso, Texas

I write reviews only if the service or product is exceptionally bad or exceptionally good. All aspects of dealing with Floor Coverings International were exceptionally good, from the process of selecting this company to selecting the products to be installed to the actually installation. My house was victim to a water heater that burst and did extensive damage to vinyl flooring, carpeting and baseboards. Over a period of several months I solicited proposals from a number of companies and individuals, four of whom did on-site inspections of work to be done, including ServPro (the "like it never really happened" people). Despite not being constrained by cost restrictions, none provided an proposal. That led to more on-line research and discovering Floor Coverings International, a small company with outstanding reviews. My restoration work involved installation of luxury vinyl plank tiles to replace existing vinyl tiles and carpeting and also base boards, all of which had been removed by the company that did the mold mitigation. The installers were able to work around a freezer that had to be kept plugged in and a cabinet containing critical electronics for wifi and internet that had to be kept operational. The end result looks great. The process of dealing with co-owners Linda and Stephanie was pleasant and, throughout, both personal and professional. Without hesitation, I do recommend this company.

Sun City Granite always delivers more than you even expect. We have used them for three projects and they were the highlight of the remodels. They are experienced, well equipped, creative, and efficient. Call them and expect to enjoy the results.

EKB Construction provided excellent kitchen remodel service. The granite countertops are beautiful and durable. The amazing crew ensured everything was done perfectly. Staff behavior was nice and respectful. The price was very reasonable.

Legacy Construction replaced my existing Air Conditioner and installed a second for the second floor. Excellent work, very professional and very 'customer friendly'. I got three estimates from different companies for the work. They were not the cheapest but they did work for me before and I trust them ! I would gladly recommend them to anyone !

We love our custom pergola built by Red Oaks Pergola. Working with the company was a wonderful experience. They were professional, friendly, reliable, easy to communicate with, and the end result speaks for itself. Highly recommended!!!

Was sold a new construction home with NO ROOF

Our roof had to be replaced for thousands of dollars. We found out that Winton had never actually put dowm appropriate roofing material. So basically we paid for a house w no roof. Winton stated it was out of warranty. Insurance states no coverage due to poor workmanship.

How can something that was never placed in the first place be under warranty?

If you want to pay thousands out of your own pocket. Choose Winton.

Alex came same day to help fix my garage door. He was on time & very professional. High recommend him!

Very clean work ! He makes sure you’re satisfied ! I highly recommend

I highly recommend EKB Construction for any kitchen remodel service. They installed gorgeous granite countertops and handled everything professionally. The amazing crew was skilled and efficient. Staff behavior was nice and welcoming. The pricing was reasonable and worth every penny.

From start to finish, my bathroom remodel experience with EKB Construction was fantastic. The professional remodel service really stood out, especially with the granite countertops they installed. The crew was amazing and worked efficiently. Staff behavior was nice and they kept everything clean. I’m very satisfied with the reasonable price and final outcome.

If I’m going to recommend any realtor from Palo Verde, it’s going to be Fernando! He helped out so much. And as we were closing, JD and Jesus made sure that our house was at 100% before we got our keys! Definitely would request for them again if we had too! We recently purchased a home from Palo Verde and had a great experience. Their team was very professional, and their communication was on point the entire time. They kept everything moving smoothly with no delays during the closing process.
The home is built in great condition, and you can tell they take pride in their work. They were also very helpful throughout the whole home-buying process. I’d definitely recommend Palo Verde to anyone looking for a reliable builder.

I paid a premium price and expected premium service — that is not what I received from A-1 Kitchens By Sierra.

From the start, the project was plagued by instability. Three different designers cycled through my project, none of whom are still employed there, and the office appeared to have a constant revolving door of staff. This alone should have been a red flag.

To make matters worse, the wrong size island was installed in my kitchen. Rather than owning the mistake and making it right, the company refused to take responsibility for the error. This is exactly the kind of accountability you should expect from a company charging premium prices — and it was completely absent.

To be fair, the install technicians themselves were professional and hardworking. I treated them with respect, purchased them meals, and tipped them for working weekends. My issue is not with them.

My issue is with the owner and the broken promises that followed. For 18 months I was strung along with assurances that promised touch-up work would be completed. After all that time, I was told they would not be returning to finish the job. No explanation. No accountability. Just silence.

When you charge a premium, you should stand behind your work. The decision to walk away from a committed customer after 18 months is unprofessional and a poor reflection of the integrity of this business. I would strongly caution anyone considering A-1 Kitchens By Sierra to get every promise in writing and think carefully before signing a contract.

Great work! QUALITY CRAFTSMANSHIP! HIGHLY RECOMMEND...Mr Mora and His Son Jesus did an outstanding job! Thank you

Overall great experience, highly recommended! We needed an interior door framed out and installed. Great quality work, punctual, consistent communication, and very professional. Bonus points for being a Christian driven company. Appreciate them praying with us at the conclusion of the project.

I called a couple of garage door companies for regular maintenance service. We're extremely glad that Smart Garage Doors was one of those. Not only did they have the best pricing but the service provided by Arturo and his colleague was great! They even helped me reconnect our garage doors to the wi-fi app!

We could not have had a better experience. We went in looking only and walked out purchasing the carpet. Alex, the owner, helped us and he was a super star. His team did a great job installing the carpet and we love the price, service and the staff. We highly recommend them!

I’ve used Best Iron Works twice now, and I’ve been very happy with their service both times. They work fast without compromising quality, and everything comes out looking great. Their pricing is also very reasonable, which makes the whole experience even better. It’s hard to find a company that consistently delivers on speed, quality, and price, but they definitely do. I would highly recommend them and will continue using them in the future.

A & M Roofing came to my home for a roof inspection after we met at the recent Home & Garden show. They did a thorough inspection and provided a solid report on the condition of my roof. Together we came to the agreement that we could wait a few years to replace it. Thank you very much for taking the time to visit with us and for your HONESTY. Looking forward to working with your in the future!

10/10 Amazing service and great repair. Alex was an expert in identifying the problem and was honest about pricing. He was also very friendly and was great with communicating the work he did and any information I needed to know.

I accidently broke my own garage door lifting it up while it was still locked on a Saturday morning. Called and was able to get it serviced and fixed same day. Alex did such a great job that I figured I'd get a new motor since mine was broken and I was manually lifting it up since I bought the house. He was able to give me a great price to replace and install one of the ones he already had on hand and knocked it out in about an hour and a half. I went with a model he had on hand but he said he could install one I would purchase if I wanted to. He also replaced my spring which was broken and installed the wrong way round by the previous owner of my home. Great guy and solid work. My only regret is not finding him sooner and dealing with manually opening my garage door for so long.

I’ve had 3 small jobs done by Sun City Granite. Each one was completed on a timely manner ,the work was clean , and the highest quality. I Know who my Granite company is.

Lone Star Home Roofing did an excellent job on replacing my roof. They (his incredible crew)put in the extra work to a complicated flat roof. They also painted my whole house doing a fantastic job. Chris was easy to talk to and very informative about what to expect and the cost. Job completed for both 4-5 days. Was so grateful to find a contractor who listens to what you want and need with no hidden cost. Highly recommended. A real professional. Thank you for a job well done.
