Edwin was the sales man that came and gave us our quote last summer. He explained to us exactly what we needed and told us our financing options. We weren’t ready to proceed at the time but knew from his knowledge and professional that when we did proceed we would call him. Fast forward to last week my husband and I decided it was time to get our new AC system so we called Edwin and told him we were ready. He came right out and set up the financing once we got approved gave us the options for install dates. Yesterday they sent a team in and finished everything very quickly and effectively. Adam was the lead technician at installation. He was very professional explained exactly what they were doing. They had to make an attic opening in my garage to finish install which I was made aware of before the hole was made. Overall the service was excellent! The warranties that are included with our new system are also really great! I would definitely recommended empire refrigeration to anyone who may need their services. They definitely have loyal customers with us now. Thank you Edwin and Adam and the whole install crew! The Navarro family loves our new HVAC system🙏🏼

I just got my AC installed yesterday and the entire experience from start to finish was seamless. They have an entire crew of dedicated specialists and they all showed up, on time, some even earlier than expected, and began with their own tasks/projects and the install was just absolutely wonderful. It was a massive project that required some modifications where the old furnace used to be and they did an exceptional job and cleaned up after they were done. They were all professional and hard working. I highly recommend Empire! They know their HVAC stuff!

I cannot say enough good things about Empire refrigeration! Communication with Hugo and Edwin was easy, Edwin showed up the following day, explained the process, provided an estimate, and received a customer. Work was completed in a half way as promised. The installation team led by Adrian was quick, professional, and high quality. He was quick to answer any and all questions while also ensuring the workplace was clean prior to the team leaving. With this triple digit heat not letting up, this was the best purchase in a long-time, highly recommend this company!

My husband and I decided to let go of our master cooler and have a refrigerated air installed. We called two companies for a quote, Empire refrigeration was one of them and was first to come and give us a quote because they can come on Saturdays. Mr. Edwin came and was very thorough in letting us know what we need and what will happen during the installation. He gave us affordable financing options. We told him we will call him again to let him know if we will get the service of his company. We were impressed with his knowledge that after 10 minutes, we decided to get the service of Empire Refrigeration and cancel our appointment with the second company. Mr. Edwin came back after a few hours for the contract and set up our payment system. We scheduled the work after a week when we will be off from work. The men came on time! They were very skillful and worked together as a team. They finished the job within 5-6 hours and left everything clean. Everything was meticulously and precisely done! The Empire Refrigeration employees who we met were all very professional in treating their customers.

I have been pleased with professionalism and timeliness of Empire Refrigeration employees that I felt the need to share my appreciation. I especially like to mention my experience with Edwin. Several years after the installation of my AC units, I texted him at night for a thermostat issue . He communicated with me right away and got service people come to the house the very next day. It is rare to have such prompt virtuous professionalism !!!!

Would not recommend this company to anyone. They paint a perfect picture of efficiency and customer service when trying to make the sale. The deal also sounds great and they’ll do anything to earn your business but once you commit to them is when they stop caring. We had our unit installed in 2023 and they did a messy job with our vents and stained our tile. The unit wasn’t even working correctly and we couldn’t get anyone to go out and fix it before we had a party to host. Unfortunately for our guests our house was over 80 degrees in June. Eventually they fixed it but not without giving attitude and them asking “what do you want me to do to fix it?” Fast forward to this year when we’re supposed to get our “first free servicing” as stated in our contract and we have not been able to set an appt. They’ve said they would be here at 3 for the past three days but have not shown up even when we call to confirm. Who ever is answering the phone to their main line is very rude and even said they were on the way without even asking who was calling.

Bottom line is, if you value your time and money, go elsewhere. This company is terrible.

Mr Hugo was great. Very easy to work with. He came after hours to give me a bid. He was very competitive and they did a better service than other companies had offered. They came and got the job done very efficiently. Very professional. Highly recommend. Split system. Furnace inside and ac on the roof

I had the pleasure of working with Edwin, who came to check on my heater. Not only did he replace it efficiently, but he also offered an incredible deal on refrigerated air. The process was seamless—from Saturday's consultation to everything being completed by Monday. Edwin's professionalism, knowledge, and friendly demeanor made me feel comfortable and confident in his service. Chose 1 star only because i had to...
Purchased an $11,000 unit from this company. After a couple of months it was not cooling. After several call attempts, someone finally answered and we were able to schedule a service call. No one ever showed or responded to our calls. Went to their business and was able to speak to receptionist. Service call was initiated to which we were charged over $300.00 because the deadline for the free service call had expire. This summer, we had the same issue with our $11,000 system and no one ever showed. After numerous calls we decided no one was going to show and just hoped for the best.
I read several comments regarding this company's customer service. Now, I pray i got the system i paid for.

Edwin Martinez and his team did an incredible job setting up our family home AC and Heating. In both our main house and studio - being away from our home was a big concern for us in knowing who we can trust, but knowing fully well installing an AC and Heater was a necessity that needed to be done as soon as possible. Edwin made the process from beginning to end easy, simple, neat, and accessible for us to manage being out of town. I cannot commend empire refrigeration enough on a job well done. I had the pleasure of speaking with Edwin Martínez and from the start he showed me with outstanding professionalism what excellent customer service is like. Edwin worked around my work schedule to accommodate a good time for a quote. During our meeting he answered in detail every question I had and went over the entire process step by step. I asked for a full a/c conversion including a new furnace and Edwin was able to get me an install date almost immediately after our meeting.

The work was completed in less than a day and I could not be more amazed at the team that was sent out. The Workmanship and tempo of the work was magnificent. There was an excellent use of man power and resources that ran like a well
Oiled machine. Everything was done neatly and you could barley notice that someone had been there. The team was extremely neat and cleaned up everything they did. There were a couple of things that had to be addressed in the following days but as I said before Edwin had meticulously explained the timeline of the install.

During the install, an unexpected water leak from the old swamp cooler system caused me a headache but I could not have asked for a better response. I called Edwin about the issue and he IMMEDIATELY sent out plumbers to my home. Edwins response was so good in fact, that he was giving me updates of the drivers location as he got closer to my home. The leak was permanently shut down and all the stress lifted off my shoulders. The last thing that was taken care of was the roof where the old unit was sitting. The roof was covered up and shingled to perfection. I couldn’t even tell where the old unit was. The overall installation process was a great experience.

I could not have asked for a better experience with empire refrigeration and especially Edwin. I held them in such high regard, I referred them to my sisters house where they did an equally amazing job. So they are 2-0 in my book.

The service man was more interested in the money than on fixing the problem. He charged me $140 to change the battery on the thermostat. I provided the batteries. I will never call on the terrible company again.

My husband and I decided to finally pull the plug on getting refrigeration installed in our 63-year-old home. It seems like it gets more humid every year earlier. We called several companies that either said they were coming out and didn't or just flat out did not answer their phones or get back with us.

Edwin from Empire Refrigeration setup an appointment and showed up promptly. He was very professional and respectful and trustworthy. That was on a Friday and on Monday he had his workers out here ready to go. Within 2 days the install was done. There was a little hiccup on the first day but he had his guys out here the next day to fix it. Their work was very clean they closed up the hallway with plastic so dirt and dust was kept to a minimum. The city came and inspected the work. They worked very fast. And if you're still on the fence about getting refrigerator please do it. What a difference. I highly recommend Empire Refrigeration.

My first interaction with Empire Refrigeration was with Edwin Martinez. Edwin was most professional and personable. A simple statement like, “I’m looking forward to meeting you on (scheduled appointment),” almost sealed the deal before it even began. This type of customer service is what I look for in a long business relationship. Empire has the right people in Edwin Martinez.

Apart from being soft spoken (not pushy), honest, and professional, Edwin also does his homework! He was able figure out the size of my home and approximate number of rooms before even stepping inside my home, thus knowing my cooling needs.

The installation crew was also friendly and very efficient (all work minus the patchwork, was completed in one day). Adam, the lead technician, walked me through every step of what was being done and demonstrated extreme knowledge and confidence in his work. After the patchwork crew finished their work, all traces of Empire working in and out of my house was barely noticeable.

Empire Refrigeration Manager, Edwin Martinez, has made himself available after the installation for a fast response to any questions I have had and for equally fast service for any needs my cooling system may has had.

I am satisfied with the knowledge of the Empire Refrigeration team and am happy with the product, service, and results that they provided.

Had an A/C installed in November 2024. Edwin paints a pretty picture that they would always be there to help. Well turns out that it is not true. When you call the office they don’t answer (weather they are busy or short staffed that is not the customer’s fault) so you have keep calling until eventually they do answer then they say they will call you back and of course they don’t, so you have to call them back. Finally after several attempts they answer you set up the appointment and they show up unprepared so they say that the office will call you back to set up another appointment for the repairs again they never call. So now you have to call them back set up your appointment they tell you that they will be there between 10am-12 pm they never show up. So you have to call again and again and again until they decide to answer and again they say they will call you back and they don’t. I honestly would not recommend this company to anyone. I would recommend you go with someone else. Like I said they will tell you what you want to hear but they are not reliable. I am really disappointed with the service of this company. If I could do it all over I would not go with them, but after paying all this money I guess I have no choice.

Although it took a couple of weeks to get our schedules together. The repairs were finely done and the problem was resolved. The gentleman who came out was very nice and he made sure that everything was done correctly. Edwin was true to his word.

The installation of heat & air was very good. I was pleased with there work.
But as far as there return for problem solving, forget it. They don't come when they say & don't answer there phone. Very poor service !! sorry guys

We cannot express enough, our gratitude and satisfaction with the level of service and professionalism demonstrated by the team at RMJ. Led by Julian and his crew. From start to finish the experience was without any problems ,glitches or hiccups.
After calling four different companies, they were the least expensive and most thorough.
Nothing was sacrificed for a lower price. Top quality equipment and no cut corners. We are pleased beyond words. Thank you to Jimmy and staff for an excellent transition from evaporative to Refrigerated Central air in our home.
