Airwest Mechanical Heating and Air Conditioning provided excellent and immediate service during our heat wave. Abel with Airwest scheduled us same a day consultation and provided a competitive quote for an HVAC conversion. We were very fortunate to have two systems installed a few days later and back to a cool home. Airwest showed up and immediately started the a/c conversion with no issues during the process. All of the employees were professional and hustled during a blistering hot day. Thank you Airwest for taking care of us and highly recommend Airwest if you need HVAC work done.

My review is mixed because I like Abel as a person, seems like a straightforward guy. My experience however was iffy. My AC stopped blowing Friday night. Saturday, he is the only HVAC person who answered and he showed up in 30 minutes. The issue was allegedly just a sticker that the fan sucked in causing it to not work, $200. An hour after he leaves, AC stops again, I call him and text him… no answer or call back. 86F inside all day. Call Sunday, he agrees to show Monday AM. This time he says my system is low in refrigerant, and it’s $60/lb to fill. He still charged me “half” a service call fee on top of the refrigerant. Had he checked the full system the first time, a 2nd call would not have been necessary. I’d happily pay for missing refrigerant, it’s understandable. But the 2nd service fee?? Almost seems on purpose to squeeze more $ out.
Does my AC work now? Yes. Repeat business? Probably not. As a business owner, I’d own the fact I missed the total check the 1st go and waive my 2nd fee.

My refrigerated air and heating systems were installed by this company. Both systems work very well. The company is very honest and showed up at the times that they said they would and finished the job on the day they said the installation would be completed. Able followed up a few days after the job was completed to see if everything was working properly. The job passed City Inspection without any issues. I definitely recommend this company.

When we were interested in installing refrigerated air in our home, Abel contacted us in a timely manner and explained the installation process and cost. We had reviewed 4 other local companies and Airwest was far more cost efficient and their air unit was better quality. These people are scam artist They’ll come to your house to fix your heating furnace, not knowing how to turn it on in the first place and yet telling you it’s a certain part that’s not making it want to work. So they go and buy the part and install it yet when they leave, it starts working so you call them letting them know it’s not working set up an appointment for a technician to come that never came so when you call them, they don’t answer and they block your number. Don’t ever get service from these people. They’re scam artist and just take your money.

Compared to other companies: was able to send someone out quickly providing fast service. Quickly fixed the problem with our furnace, and reasonable diagnostic fee. Thank you.

They were more than helpful, they were a blessing. Was able to get me financed when my ac completely went out (there was no saving it). Scheduled me in fast, arrived on time and completed my installment fast and efficiently. Answering any questions I had along the way. Won’t go to anyone else!!

From the beginning, Mountain Star's customer service was friendly and professional. Abraham and Joseph installed my dishwasher from Costco and both did an exceptional job. I wanted a high rise loop under my cabinet and they anchored the loop so durably; no water will be seeping into my dishwasher tub anytime soon. They also patiently answered all of my questions. I highly recommend a dishwasher install from this company.
