Mike is a wealth of knowledge! Not only did he take care of our range issue he was extremely helpful discussing the other appliances in our house regarding extending the life of them. I highly recommend him to any who appliance repair needs!!

Mike came out to fix our Bosch dishwasher today. He did an excellent job and a quick repair. He took the time to explain the problem and show us what was going on and how to prevent future problems. Will definitely call again for any more appliance repair needs.

This time around it was our 10 yr old refrigerator, humming and icing up inside the walls. I explained the issue to Mike over the phone and without even coming out yet he mentioned knew which brand refrigerator we had. Very, very impressive and reassurance that he is very knowledgeable when it comes to appliances. Beyond understanding the issue, he scheduled our appointment immediately and arrived on time as scheduled.
He went above and beyond…He pulled the unit out carefully from the custom cabinet to avoid damaging them, and he even cleaned the dust from the back of the unit voluntarily to help improve productivity and efficiency.
Mike is saved in our preferred vendor contact list and is always the first we call for both our home and investment property repair needs. Recommend 100%!

I thought my refrigerator was dying as it was not completely cooling. I called Mike and he inspected the refrigerator and found that it only needed to be reset by pulling the plug, waiting and then plugging the refrigerator back in.
Mike explained why it needed to be reset and he showed me how to tell if the refrigerator was cooling. He also gave other tips such as placing a surge plug with a delayed response so the refrigerator would not turn on immediately when the sudden power outages occur.
Mike also looked at my washing machine and said it was working fine and gave tips about the machine.
What I really appreciated was a text from Mike the next day asking how the refrigerator was working.
Mike will always be the person I call for repairs!

Would definitely recommend! He was able to see us quickly and fixed a problem with our oven that I had been battling for months after being told by another repair person that it couldn’t be fixed. So very thankful!! It’s wonderful to have an oven again that works!!!!

Mike has repaired several appliances in our home (washing machine, dryer, refrigerator) and checked another appliance for me to determine if it was worth fixing and recommended a different type (no brand... wasn't selling anything) that broke less frequently and was much less expensive to repair. (He even took my calls during a storm when our standby generator stopped working and offered to come out the next day to evaluate and see if there was anything he could do.) He takes the time to explain what is wrong and what his plan is to repair. Then during repair, he has always shown me the part he has to replace and explains/shows us what is wrong with it. He recommended using a different product in the washer to avoid problems in the future. He cleans up afterwards. His fees are very fair and reasonable and most times he can come the same day or the next. We find him to be very pleasant and knowledgeable and feel lucky to have found him. I keep his number in my phone and he's the first one we call with any appliance issues. Great experience! I don't have to worry that I am going to be cheated or lied to. Very nice guy! Great business!

Our dishwasher wouldn't work after serving 30 people for Easter dinner! Yikes! As my previous experience with many appliance repair companies had been poor (they would take a look for a certain charge, then tell me to buy a new appliance), I was cautious and hesitant but the dishes were piled up and we needed help. HQ was here the next day, on time with good communication. They were knowledgeable and thorough and took their time to carefully and thoroughly address the problem, gave us some prevention tips and left the washer in better condition than it was prior to the fail. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Sub-Zero Hero
We have a 25 year old Sub-Zero refrigerator which has often needed repairs and replacement parts at great expense. Initially the work was by "accredited" repair services, almost always nationwide franchises employing semi-skilled labor. Consequently, every fix we had was of short benefit and was often followed by some other problem. Finally, we found Mike at HQ appliances and have been extremely impressed by all his work. He has always responded promptly to call out requests, communicating arrival times by text. On different occasions he's had to fix both the Sub-Zero's freezer and refrigerator sections, replacing or, where possible, repairing items that were often damaged or incorrectly installed by prior repair workers. What's unique about Mike is that he doesn't just fix the immediate problem but also carefully seeks its root cause and fixes that as well to prevent recurrence. He's worked previously as a refrigeration engineer in petrochemicals and his skill and experience show. He's a meticulous and careful technician, so although he may spend longer on the repair, his prices are at the lower end of those made by so-called "approved" franchises. After completion, he sends follow up texts to check all is functioning as it should. Mike apparently fixes other domestic appliances, and we would certainly contact him should the need arise but from our repeat experience on our refrigeration equipment, he is outstanding, and we give him the highest possible recommendation

CALL MIKE FIRST…Mike is awesome and I wish I called him first. He’s quick and super reasonable. My Bertazzoni range had 3 burners out and no broiler. A DIFFERENT repair place quoted me $580 PLUS a $180 trip charge just to look at it and give me a quote that it would take 3-4 weeks. Mike fixed it in one week AND my fireplace for $500. Super happy.

The owner/technician is very professional, he answered phone, made appointment and arrived on time. He replaced our ice maker and made some repairs to fix damage to refrigerator previously caused by movers. I would definitely recommend HQ for appliance repair work. He is very personable and our dog liked him.

The owner took care of my oven very quickly. He was very polite and respectful. He was extremely knowledgeable. He explained everything that was going on. His price was very reasonable. He fixed the gas oven in about an hour. If you have any appliance issues, call HQ appliance repair.

My refrigerator was leaking water from the side. I called the company and someone came to the house a couple hours later. The technician was able to identify the problem, but unfortunately was not able to fix it because the store to buy the part at was closed. He came back on Monday like he said he would with the new part and fixed the fridge. He is an honest and trustworthy person. I highly recommend anyone to use this company. Thank you!

Rudy was stellar! We had an issue with our dryer and contacted Same Day to get someone out and fix it. Rudy was prompt, courteous, and got the job done expertly and quickly! Really appreciated the job well done and wouldn’t hesitate to contact them in the future if any other appliances need to get fixed.

Excellent experience with Same Day Appliance Repair! The technician on-site was Kevin and he did a wonderful job. Kevin has great customer service skills and is very knowledgeable. My dryer repair was done quickly and exceeded my expectations. Harriet is the customer service rep that handled my phone call initially and she was also great. This company and its employees are awesome! They really care about what is wrong with your appliance and try and help you over the phone first. My dishwasher suddenly stopped working. I was encouraged to look at the circuit breaker first before they came out. That was the problem! Previously they made a service call to fix my microwave. The repair man was professional and friendly. I highly recommend this company.

Had a major problem with our washer. Transmission, clutch, and basket drive went out. Donovan came out and basically took our washer apart. The parts he needed were not in stock but as soon as they came in, he was there to install it. Upon further inspection, another worn part was discovered. He made his schedule work to come back on his already busy day, the next day, and reassemble our washer.

You may be asking yourself, "Why didn't you toss this washer and buy a new one"? Well this one we had purchased used because a new Maytag we had purchased a couple of years ago was junk. It would not clean the clothes so we sold it and bought this older machine that, when working properly, does a great job.

Our Kenmore dryer stopped working and as it turned out it was a switch.
Oswaldo came out and got us back up and running very quickly. He is very knowledgeable, experienced, and friendly.

Great service! We live in Richmond and our dryer wasn’t heating. Jay came to our house on a Saturday and repaired it within about 45 minutes. He was professional, clean cut and courteous. This is our second time using Same Day and they’ve been great every time.
