Mr Appliance was awesome! They came out same day and diagnosed the problem quickly. Had to order a part for the repair and said it would be here in a couple of days. Came in on a Saturday and were able to get out that same day as well and complete the job. Communication was great!! Thanks Mr. Appliance!

I very rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with this company was so bad that I feel the need to warn others: run away, do not use this company.
After spending over $1050, my refrigerator is STILL BROKEN AND NOT WORKING PROPERLY.
I have a 20+ year old side-by-side refrigerator/freezer that was freezing food. Over several weeks, I saw three different repairmen from Mr. Appliance of Katy and ended up spending over $1,050 on parts, labor, and movers. Yes, the refrigerator is now working—but only after wasted time, unnecessary expenses, and constant frustration.
The first technician was polite but never checked the coils (critical on an older fridge, especially with pets in the house). Instead, he ordered $500 in parts.
The second technician, Pablo, came to install those parts. When they didn’t fix the issue, he immediately ordered another $350 in parts—without even checking the refrigerator. By then, I had already hired movers to disconnect and move my stacked washer/dryer because the office confirmed he would need it moved. It wasn’t needed. When I questioned him, he tried to blame the washer/dryer.
I confirmed again before the third visit, was told the washer/dryer needed moving, and once again hired movers—only to be blamed later that the technician couldn’t see other clients because he was waiting on my movers, something completely out of my control and something that could have been avoided if they had checked the coils when the movers were at my house the first time.
I contacted the owner, Mr. Roberts, who assured me he would “take care of me.” His idea of that? A 10% off coupon text.
This company wasted my time, my money, and showed no respect for the customer. The glowing reviews on their website do not reflect the reality of their service. I would never use them again and strongly urge others to avoid making the same mistake. -
Professional,Coutourious and prompt service will be using your services in the future. Melvin showed up promptly and professionally repaired my appliances.

The technician was very friendly and knew what part
Needed to be changed out
that was not working . The part worked like supposed to. We just didn’t give it long enough to ensure the wole system is working. Going to need to reschedule to get some one out here to check out the system -
Awesome experience! Came to fix our washer within two hours of calling. Highly recommend.

Pablo did such a great job, his fix on our gas range oven was very fast! He also gave us some pointers to help with the longevity of our appliance. Will definitely call if we need services again.

Melvin came out and diagnosed the problem with my dryer right away. Was able to get the part and return the next day. There was a bit miscommunication about our appointment time, but he patiently waited for me to come home when I could. I honestly just wished that the repair was not so expensive.

The tech who came out was nice. Told my wife it would be 3 hundred something to fix our 700$ washer machine. We found that to be better than buying a new one. Magically the bill became 500$ and unfortunately my wife just paid it. Then they come back to put in the ordered part, and of course that’s also not the problem, so let’s see what this repair will be…..
I had to stop him and say this “you guys know how much this appliance costs, it is in your customers best interest to be aware of that”” I also work in service, and if I was to start throwing 500$ bills to them to fix a 700$ washer without at least bringing up that it’s real close to getting a new one, they should fire me and not use me again.
So that’s what we will do, and again I give it 2 stars because the guy was nice.
Not to say stay away, but educate yourselves on costs of things, so you don’t get taken advantage of by companies who like to bill 1k to fix a 700$ item. -
Great experience. Learned a lot about my washer while they were here. Prompt service! Fixed the issue quickly. And both gentleman very kind. Thank you Melvin and Sam! Would highly recommend.

It’s been busy and Krystal hired a repair service to look at an issue with our refrigerator. They charged us $140 to make the service call. Came out and after two visits diagnosed it as a gasket repair on the freezer. A very simple repair that takes 20 min. The repair man then applied the charge for the gasket and labor and and charged me $490. I thought this was a lot and asked to see an itemized receipt. It could not be produced. So I asked to speak to the owner, Robert Scheifer. Spent a few minutes with him and he gave this long story about how their system works and would cost customers more if they set it up differently. I was unhappy with the explanation.
I began doing a little research and a few people in the know on these types of repair reached out. Turns out that the issue wasn’t the gasket. It was the drain that was plugged. I fixed myself and put in a call to the owner. In the meantime, I found that the gasket cost anywhere from $59-$160, but they wanted roughly $650 to do the repair that would take 20 min.
I spoke with Mr Schiefer this morning. He was willing to refund my $490 but not the $140 and wanted to charge me cancellation fees. I let him know that I was unsatisfied based on the fact that he was charging me 1100% the cost of the freezer gasket ($59 Amazon)to repair it. A clear business ethics issue.
Also, friends in the know helped me diagnose the real issue which was a simple drain pipe clog. Made the repair myself and the freezer has worked perfectly for 48 hours
