Johnson Family Heat and Air is amazing at their job. We had them install a mini-split above our garage area. They were efficient with their time and cleaned up when finished (which is a plus when dealing with the construction world). They were also very cost effective! Their bid was 1/3 of the major competitors! . We were so impressed and highly recommend!

Unfortunately my experience cost me financially. I really do hate writing negative reviews and in fact was hoping I had found a local AC guy for all my needs. Came out first trip and charge me a couple hundred to clean some contacts that ants had gotten into. Failed to check out the entire system and then charged me another $1200 to replace the outside unit that was under warranty. (Still not certain it was bad) Then wanted to replace the upstairs handler for $1700. A second opinion replaced a part for $300 and it all works fine now. So, I'm afraid I paid for stuff I didn't need. Also, while in my attic he stepped through the ceiling in my living room and denied it. Interesting because he was the only one in my attic and I just had the entire house repainted inside and out. My GC would have told if there was a hole in the ceiling I'm quite sure. That was another $300 to repair the ceiling. All I asked was that he own it. Instead got mad at me. I definitely will not be using him again.

A couple years ago my AC blew out in the middle of the July. I had to get a window unit and live in my bedroom just so my dog and I didn't die of heat strokes. I found this guy through a flyer someone posted at my job and within a couple days my house was cool and livable again, but that's not the whole story. He and one assistant completely removed my old A/C and furnace including the outside unit, hauled it off, replaced it with a brand, shiny, new one with a great warranty for a VERY reasonable price in one afternoon. Not to mention the service after the sale. Anytime I have an issue (duh cut the wire to the outside unit trimming my hedges) he has rushed out to check it out. Normally, has repaired or replaced what was wrong that same moment for free, since it's under warranty. The owner's name is Terry, tell him Matthew referred you. I tell everyone about this guy the second they mention any kind of issues with their heating or cooling. I am a very satisfied life-long customer of Dallas Cool Air.
