Used this business through our rental company when the AC in our house stopped working. After waiting 3 hours after our scheduled appointment for someone to show up, I called the business and they told me “He skipped your house for some reason.” And assured me that he- the worker assigned to fix our unit- would arrive at our house at 3pm and would notify us when he was on his way. After 4pm with no contact whatsoever, I called again. They told me they reached out to the rental company instead of the point of contact, that he just left his appointment, and should finally be on his way.
To be fair, when he arrived he recognized and fixed the problem quickly.
My issue is with the customer service and disorganized process we had to go through. Absolute disregard for others time, lack of communication, and minimal effort to rectify the scheduling issue that they caused. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone that needs quick service.

Update: C3 continues to be excellent. Nick Hogue came out today to perform biannual maintenance on the HVAC system. He was so nice and added on my boiler maintenance as well. Since this was unexpected upon his arrival, he did not have the parts for my boiler. He took the time to go and get the correct parts, came back and did all maintenance. He even cleaned the air exchanger coils as they had gotten real dirty.

Today is Thanksgiving and I am thankful for C3! Our house was a little cool yesterday and I had a gut instinct that something was off. I think our backup heat (oil furnace) wasn't coming on when it was supposed to. They came out the same day (day before Thanksgiving) and fixed it. However, last night (night before Thanksgiving) it was HOT in our house (80F instead of 70F). the furnace didn't turn off for some reason. So we called again. They suggested we turn off the thermostat. At first that didn't appear to work. I could still hear the furnace boiler burning. But at some point in the night the furnace went off and the base board heaters cooled off. However, C3 still came out this morning (Thanksgiving day) to make sure everything was working well. They even figured out the problem was in the thermostat program. So they programed our thermostat differentials. Now AUX HEAT will come on within 2 degrees of desired temp but the furnace will only come on if it drops 4 degrees (or something like that). Anyway they came out twice (once on a holiday) and fixed it for no charge since it is within the first year of a new install.

I also used this company at our former address for issues. They were always courteous, on time, and fixed any issues at a reasonable price. They even would let us know if there wasn't a problem!

My mom has used C3 at her rental property. They were able to diagnose that her problem was actually a Dominion electrical issue. The electricity supplied to the house had an issue that Dominion needed to fix.

Mom will be using C3 to install a new HVAC at her current residence where there is currently no unit.

I cannot recommend them highly enough. They are good people. Honest, courteous and reasonably priced.

The technician, Nick who came out to service my HVAC units under my yearly maintenance plan was very professional and courteous. He was knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I would like to start by praising this company for always be on time and to text when the technician is en route. Mr. Tyler did an amazing job. He did a throughly inspection of my units and the space around them. He took the time to explain about the reading, and what needed to be done to keep the units running. They really are a wonderful company to work with and I highly recommend them.

C3 installed a brand new air unit and duct work in our home during a renovation in 2019. We had problems with that unit from the day it was turned on, condensation dripping from vents, then the duct work was, leaking, sweating and dripping in the attic space. The unit couldnt keep the upstairs cool and we had high humidity. They kept saying it was our house and nothing they could do. Or they would come do some weird patch here and there to "fix it". The downstairs unit worked fine. We had to hire another company to install all new duct work because C3 wouldn't honor and make appropriate changes. Humidity was a huge problem so ended up having to add a whole house dehumidifier, the compressor sounded horrible already after a new install. It was problem after problem and thousands of dollars more. Finally after years of struggling we had it replaced and the new hvac company when they pulled it out showed us how it was improperly installed from the beginning. Years of issues, humidity, tons of wasted money because of an improper install that they wouldn't be bothered with it to find the problem after they installed it. I'd use extreme caution if you have to deal with them. Find someone else if you can.

Referred through 360 Plumbing for a holiday work order. 30 minute turn around and a very reasonable cost. Tyler came out and checked everything, temp fix on the spot, but I needed a replacement thermostat to avoid it happening again. Offered to bring equipment they had in stock or let me purchase my own and gave clear guidance on what would work with my system. Gary came the next day, installed the new unit and gave expert tips for maintaining the system. C3 is now my go-to if I have heating or cooling issues as long as I live in this area. Tyler, Jen and Gary are a precise team of professionals, I can only assume the rest of the company is just as good.

I cannot begin to describe the stellar customer service I received from C3 and their employees, specifically Melvin, Jennifer, Tyler and Dwayne. They are professional, on time, customer oriented and go out of their way to provide top notch work. Melvin provided an in depth estimate, Dwyane was a very detailed oriented installer and Tyler thoroughly went over the units to make sure they were working property after the install. We will be using C3 in the future for yearly maintenance and all of our HVAC needs. Amazing work!

A great company. C3 has maintained and repaired my HVAC system multiple times. Tyler, the most recent technician to visit, was punctual, explained all work in detail, and got my system running smoothly; even wore shoe covers to avoid dirtying my floor. Jennifer, in the office, is friendly and professional and makes every effort to schedule appointments that fit the customer's schedule. Great communication via text and Email as well.

Motor in our furnace died 3 hours before we were about to go on vacation, Melvin came right away, told us what to do, order the part and fixed it while we were gone. Just tremendous service, I highly recommend.

I have dealt with many HVAC companies over the years, but I have to say, C3 Heating and Air is by far the best I have encountered! My husband and I just purchased a new home and a few weeks into living there, the HVAC stopped working. I found an old invoice from the previous homeowners and contacted C3 to see if they could come out and service our unit.

Not only did they come out the same day and make the necessary repairs, but Tyler, the technician, explained my system to me, what to look out for, how to operate certain things and even showed my how we could be more efficient! Best of all, they extended the products warranty to us and didn't charge us a thing.

Sorry for the delayed post, but wanted to make sure other people know that this company and the crew that they sent out are top notch. Our two units were about 30 years old and needed to be replaced in the hottest part of the summer 2024. And they knocked out the job to include complete redo of the ductwork. So glad they were able to come out so quickly and we were able to cool the house down in no time. So glad to finally have heat during the winter that is not baseboard heat as well. We will call them for any of our HVAC needs and have referred them to others as well.
