I couldn’t be happier with the service from Mr. E appliance repair. They were responsive, on time, knowledgeable, speedy, and the price was fair. We used them for our dishwasher repair (needed a new motor) , and will use them again when we need service on our HVAC, and other appliances, as well as plumbing. Thank you!!

The technician was professional in presentation and very respectful of the workplace. He welcomed questions and had no issue with the observation of his processes, from assessment to correction of the problem. Technician demonstrated skill in creating simulations to determine if the system was going to respond as it should. Extremely pleased with the service provided; assessment through correction.

Ethan was absolutely great. He identified and fixed the problem with my dishwasher and was courteous and so professional. I highly recommend him and the company

Very professional. The technician diagnosed the issue and laid out the options as well as the cost that was very reasonable. The same technician was able to fix another appliance for us so we knew exactly who to call when our dryer went out. He took the time to explain what we can do to prevent further issues.

The woman who took my call was so polite & savvy. Despite my calling midday on a Friday asking to have new Miele stacking washer & dryer installed (Lowe's couldn't figure out how to install so had just left my purchases in the hallway), Mr E Appliance installed them that same day! The team who came were very calm & quiet & efficient & answered all my questions. I checked with a level & they'd set the washing machine PERFECTLY level on the 3rd floor of a 1914 building, so of course they'd needed to adjust the feet carefully.
I also appreciate having the machines precisely stacked parallel to the wall - nothing is crooked.
BEST EXPERIENCE WITH AN APPLIANCE BUSINESS EVER!
Oh yeah, they also took with them the packing mess. -
Upon contacting this company, it seemed like it was going to be a great experience. They scheduled me in a timely manner and they arrived on time. We had a malfunctioning washing machine, which had several sheared off bolts in the tub and was extremely off balance. Kyle and his coworker said that the bolts were not coming from the washer as they did not match any of the bolts on the machine, and that the suspension was bad causing it to become off balance. The front and back suspension were 2 different parts that Kyle said one was on back order. Out of desperation, I told Kyle I was going to Lowe’s to see if I could have the parts off of the display since this washer is only 2 years old. I ended up finding the parts new and asked how much for install. He quoted me $250, not including the $99 I already paid. After seeing the sticker shock of $350 for labor (parts were $30 total), I declined. $350 for repair was outrageous to me however, i was polite in my response. I re-read all of our texts and realized that Kyle thought I was trying to replace my entire machine. I told him we were having a miscommunication and that a phone call would be best. This is when they completely ghosted me. I called and left voicemails, sent texts, no response… I finally got someone on the phone several days later and apparently there was a note on my account that he didn’t want to service my machine because there would be friction. I was so blindsided by this. I thought we were on good terms but just having a miscommunication.. so the receptionist said that they are able to decline service to anyone for any reason and I told her I would be leaving an honest review. She then started yelling at me for saying that… well, here is the review and it is nothing but honest. My dad ended up coming down (I was trying to save him the trip), and not only replaced the suspension, but also found that the sheared bolts was from the washer and that the clutch was only hanging on from 3/6 bolts that were so loose, you could untwist them with your fingers. This causes the washer to be unbalanced and wore the suspension down. Long story short, I paid $99 to get yelled at and an incorrect diagnosis. I’m thankful to have a working washing machine again with a 9 month old baby, it was a long 4 weeks in dealing with this company.

I had a problem with my wall mounted oven; while replacing the broiler element, one of the wires slipped. The oven needed to be removed to complete the repair. I called Mr. E Appliance service, they sent Kyle. He was awesome. Quick, professional, and a pleasure to work with. He was quick and efficient and I highly recommend Mr. E Appliance Service for any needed repair.

I had a dishwasher that needed repair, and I contact Mr. E. on 27JAN26 for a repair visit. The soonest appointment was on Wednesday 11FEB26.
I had been under the impression it would be addressed on that day, but I understand specialty parts might not be kept in stock. So the $99 dollars for the house call would be applied to the future maintenance
I received and estimate for $364.77 minus the $99 dollars already paid. This included $250 in labor and $144.77 in parts. I understand repairs are hard and labor intensive, and I'd rather repair serviceable machines than replace them.
I pay $140.82 for the deposit on the next appointment, which we set for Thursday 19FEB26. The morning of Thursday 19FEB26, I get an email saying the appointment was cancelled, and a voicemail explaining the parts weren't in. I understand things happen with shipping. I'm assured the parts will be in the next day, and we set another date for Friday 20FEB26.
The following morning, I get a text saying the parts aren't in again, and the next appointment available is Wednesday 25FEB26. Every weekday appointment has required time off work. If we want to cancel the repair, it will cost 15% restocking fee for parts that were late twice and have cost more in time off work than the parts itself.
At this point we have waited 3 weeks, paid 243.78, had to take 3 part days off from work. In order to complete the process, we will have to wait at least another week, or take another 1/2 day off. Assuming things go to plan.
A new dishwasher costs under $400 dollars, and can be delivered and installed next weekend.

rude - be sure not to call

Had my washer repaired today and my machine is back to normal! Thank you Tony for your service that was quick, on time and professional. The tables has turned - After my repair my machine stopped working the same night! Thought things were fixed but it was not! Contractor never returned calls to me or warranty company. Not sure what is going on but he just dropped off-online and disappeared! How do you keep and run your business, unbelievable! NEVER AGAIN!!!

Technician absconded - Wont return calls. Has been a month.

I was given the time "between 8 and 10" as my ballpark figure of arrival. The technician arrived right at 8 and was the most pleasant repairman I'd ever dealt with. Within 30 minutes my refrigerator was repaired.

Chad was great. Helped me diagnos the problem with my fridge over the phone and help with a temporary fix untill he was able to get the parts needed for the permanent fix. I would highly recommend them for anyone with an appliance repair need.

Simple review. They were nice on site which is why they got 2 stars instead of 1. They were sent by the home warranty company to fix the fridge. Diagnosed the issues and ordered parts. When the parts arrived, only did half the repair and said they would be back. That night the home warranty company closed the ticket. I told the company it had not been closed. They came back out, said they did not have the parts to fix... ordered parts again. When they finally came back out, did not work, the part did not fit... and so on. Honestly, I got tired of the incomplete work and decided to live with the small issue. Well, the small issue got bigger and decided to have it looked at again. This tech informed us that Appliance Service Unlimited had tried to install the wrong part, had installed it such that it would not work anyhow (it was a heater for the water line). As a result there was major condensation in the ice maker causing the metal components to corrode (which explained the rust trail coming from the dispenser unit) and had basically left the entire circuit beyond repair. To get it to function as designed a new door would be required and they can no longer be purchased... in other words, because they tried to force in a wrong part and had no clue how to make it work, they made our fridge ice and water dispenser worthless. I guess their plan was to beat us into living with a flaw and hoping we would go away. I hope the warranty company takes issue with their shoddy work.

Appliance Services Unlimited was hired by our Home Warranty Company to come repair our fridge. Our in-person experience with them went well, but then they never reported back to the home warranty company about the fact that they deemed our fridge non-repairable. When the company and we ourselves sought to reach out to them to make this happen (about eight calls so far, and counting) , they did not return our calls. We have been in limbo with the warranty company for three weeks (so far) to repair our fridge as they have kept telling us they cannot do anything to replace our fridge until Appliance Services returns their calls. This has been so frustrating for us and we really would like to start the process of getting a new fridge and a company that doesn't return 8+ phone calls doesn't seem like a company I can't recommend at this point.

Sent by our home warranty company for an oven that wasn’t heating, diagnosed the problem within minutes of the visit. Tech went out immediately to get one part but realized it needed something else to work properly after another test. Returned a week later after the part came in and worked perfectly within minutes. Always arrived at the beginning of the estimated time period. Great customer service!
