My AC was not working this morning. Called White Goods Services followinga recommendation from a friend. Rusty answered, said he was booked for the day, but he happily walked me through a few things to check. Found the problem and my system is working. Rusty was pleasant and professional. I have found my new HVAC service company.

We had a homeowners claim back in January, and WGS was suggested. They were on time, professional, and really explained the job so I was comfortable with the work being done. We had another issue (unrelated to the claim caused by rodents) this past month with our duct work, contacted WGS for all new duct work on our HVAC unit. The price was really reasonable for excellent work done. They were afraid they’d be behind schedule due to some workers being ill, but they KEPT US IN THE LOOP! Which is hard to find lately, and even had the OWNER Rusty come out to ensure the job wouldn’t fall behind. When we called about the repair this time around they sent the same tech, Tony, to handle the job, he remembered our house from the claim previously and was still as professional as we remember. Originally they thought the job would be Wednesday - Friday, but Rusty, Tony, and Wensley stayed behind a little bit today (Thursday) to get our unit fresh and new for the weekend. They didn’t come from a selling stand point, they really just wanted our job done right. They found vents that were leading no where, checked every duct we had in the house, gave us information on how it should be running, what certain parts of the unit do, and they took pictures every step of the way to show us what was happening in our crawl space. It was just an overall wonderful experience and I really trust the work being done!

Rusty, the owner, is always quick to respond, eager to help and very pleasant to interact with. White Goods Services just replaced our entire AC system, they were on time, and did an amazing job. Rusty and Cody spent an entire day here working and they were extremely professional. Anthony, the QI guy, just came by to do a follow up check on the system and was also super friendly, and professional. Thanks to the entire team, we have our Central AC up and running and we will continue to use White Goods Services for all of our Heat and AC needs. We highly recommend them!!

The guys from WGS were fantastic. Always on time and very professional. They did an HVAC change out for me that three other companies had told me couldn't be done. Rusty looked at the issues and came up with a couple of alternatives that would work. He also was very accommodating to my concerns about some cosmetic issues, and found a work around that I was happy with. Robert and Cody handled the install, and they were great! They got the job done quickly and efficiently and left the work site clean. Highly recommended!!

After hiring a company who failed to properly install a new Heating and AC system in our home, Rusty Myers and his team came to our home, on rather short notice, to correct the former company's mistakes. Realizing the temperatures were dropping and my family needed to have a functional heating unit for the winter months, Rusty made it a priority to get to our home to assess what needed to be done. His assessment and recommendations on how to move forward were spot on. As a result of his expertise, it was in our best interest to have the poorly-installed system removed and replaced. So far so good!

I shopped around and had 5 companies come to my home and give me estimates. I needed two new HVAC units and I knew it wasn't going to be cheap. You'd think that having to blow (no pun intended) that much money these companies would be falling all over each other to get my business? Am I right or am I crazy? Anyhoo out of the 5, only two actually called me with estimates and explained the process...only two. Oh Hampton Roads c'mon you're better that that! Now remember, they all went to my home to see what needed to be done, but only 2 called me back with information. Anyway company #2 gave me a written estimate, and when I called with follow up questions they were less than helpful. Enter company #1 White Goods Services.

Rusty (yep) called me and emailed me a lot of information, and even sweetened the pot a bit for me since I was on a tight time schedule. He was patient (I am stationed overseas and was flying home to oversee the install) with all my internet phone calls with more than likely dumb questions. But he wanted my business and explained it all in great detail to me. Even though at points during his phone calls my eyes did glaze over a bit, I mean explaining HVAC systems isn't exactly riveting like watching an Avengers movie...but I digress.

Once at the home he came out with his crew (who by the way were the utmost professionals, going out of their way to make sure everything was perfect) and began the install. It took two days as this was a rather big job. Once it was done the house was cool, (pun intended) and all the new equipment was given a thorough inspection along with follow up visits to come. They taught us how to use the state of the art panels and climate controls, and bonus hey I can set the ac to freezing though an app on my cell phone just to mess with my tenants heads now..lol! They might think the house is haunted...But I wont.

Out of all the companies Rusty and his team were not the least expensive, but they offered more bang for the buck in terms of service agreements and warranties. I have to say after dealing with this company I will always recommend them to anyone looking for honest HVAC repair or install. It was a quick turnaround and every bit of it went according to a plan Rusty laid out for me. No surprises, no added costs, I got exactly what I paid for. Really hope this reviews puts others on the right path to finding an honest HVAC company. I'm also hoping Rusty names his next horse after me, either way I am glad I called White Goods Services.

White Goods Services went above and beyond for my family. Rusty made sure we were well informed on our boiler install. Ryan and Cameron were respectful and hard workers. They had our boiler installed quickly during the coldest days this winter to make sure we had heat and hot water. Thank you for all the hard work!

Absolutely fantastic service. We had a great experience with this company last year when we had to replace our AC unit. Unfortunately a part broke right as we were moving. They were able to come right out and worked hard to replace the part before our new renters moved in! The part was under warranty, so luckily we didn't pay a dime but I've never seen a company work so hard on a job that they were not making money off of. I also loved that when we called for updates, a real human answered the phone and was familiar with our case and was very helpful. 10/10 would use again.

Honest, on time, professional and their preventative maintenance plan caught an issue that could have cost me big. Rusty and the gang are good people doing good business. I have had them service my systems for almost 3 years. They recently moved the system to the side of my house to prepare for an addition. A big job that was done well and for a fair price. I have been using his services for more than 9 years and have never had one issue with them. When I have questions- Rusty or my team take the time to explain or answer my questions. These are the kind of guy you want around when there are emergencies. They know the system inside and out and can not only prevent issues but correct events like the 15 degree freeze up where they responded swiftly.
These guys rock.

An update here May 2025. I had a split unit go bad just over a year from install. They diagnosed it and chased down the parts and completely replaced the compressor unit and charged the system back up to perfect running condition at NO COST.

I strongly encourage those who have system to enroll in their maintenance and service program. They detailed keep records on all the work and data on the systems and can provide the right service with a known history of the units. Money well spent. If you had an outside group come in, they don't know the history of the unit and spend your money and time trouble shooting the unknowns.

Quality equipment, professional service, and integrity. Can you ask for more?

We Chose WGS to install a new Carrier AC/Furnace in our Home. When Rusty came out to give us a quote, he was very knowledgeable and detailed in explaining the products. He answered every question we had with confidence. He did not just try to sell us a unit. He made us feel like he cared about us as customers. When Rusty, Ryan and Winsley came to install the unit, they were extremely professional and detail oriented with the install. They were careful with being clean. We are very happy with our new unit and with WGS. I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs service.

White Goods Services is our go-to HVAC company—hands down. We've used them twice to replace both systems and recently had them install a separate split unit for our main bedroom. Their team is highly knowledgeable, professional, and trustworthy. Ryan and Wensley were always on time, respectful of our space, and left everything spotless. They even coordinated with an excellent electrician who gave us a great rate. We felt comfortable having them in our home—even our toddler was unbothered. If you need HVAC work done right, call WGS first. We won’t use anyone else!

During the winter season I have lost heating and white good services has came out to my property to restore my heat. I set up appointments and they were out the next day Anthony my tech who came out was down to earth. Very personable and very knowledgeable about the job, breaking things down and how things work and what leads to certain problems. I am going to be ordering parts for my HVAC system at their recommendation. The prices were fair. The estimates looked good and that's more than enough for me.

If you want quality honest people to work on your systems, I definitely recommend these guys.

I will definitely be having them coming out regularly for tune-ups and seasonal checkups in the future

When you call, you don’t get some fresh out of school guy that has no clue what he’s doing, you get Al the owner who takes pride in his business. And, he only charges a fraction of what these other big companies do.

I called this guy to come check my Hvac unit. Let me tell you Al was very prompt courteuos professional and found and fixed my problem in 30 mins.I highly recommend this guy. Dont go with the big companies they will lie to you to make money. Call Al and im sure you'll be as happy as I am!!!

Phenomenal service and unbeatable prices! Al Edwards has our broken air conditioner blower motor up and running in just under 2 hours at a third of the price that the big companies charge.

Edwards is Knowledgeable & Humble. I trust his diagnosis on HVAC issue. if he does not know the stuff, he will let you know up front. I trust him for his suggestion. It's rare Quality . I will recommend him highly.
