So we had our main line clogged...
First of all, I want to give a BIG shout out to Jan (at the call center) for being friendly, VERY patient, detailed in answers (which she had to every one of my questions), definitely knows what company she works for, so she is well prepared unlike many others out there, who have zero understanding on what their servicemen do and think their only job is to schedule appointments. It’s BECAUSE of Jan we decided to go with FloHawks. Whoever’s paying her, she deserves more. Seriously.
A gentleman by the name of Darren arrived and located the problem, fixed it, explained to us how to prevent another accident from happening. Answered every single question we had. He was very respectful with us, which I value highly.
The flat service fee of $359 was very convenient, because we have experienced in the past some services that charge per hour would show up and stay as long as possible so they’d end up charging us a fortune.
Also, fantastic job communicating with your clients! I got a text message with a picture of Darren, so I know what he looks like, approximate time of his arrival, which was on time.
Overall, I’m VERY impressed and definitely will recommend them to my friends.

Incredible company. I had an emergency septic issue and they were able to get out same day and handled it with ease. They were done quickly and kept everything nice and clean. 5 out of 5 and I’ll be using them from here on out.

Mark was very patient and conscientious. It took quite a while to conduct the "air-lift" pump out and finally worked well with Bill's amazing jig.

We had a leaking bathtub upstairs and while FloHawks was able to send someone out pretty quickly, that person couldn’t figure out what was wrong. He told us there would be no charge for his visit as he couldn’t diagnose the problem and someone from the office would contact us the next day to send someone else out. We didn’t hear anything the next day so we called to follow up. They were able to send someone else out pretty quickly, which we appreciate, and that person fixed the leak. We received an invoice and paid it right away. A few days later, we received another invoice so we called FloHawks and explained what their technician told us - that we would not be charged for the first visit due to him not being able to identify the cause of the leak. They told us they would look into it and get back to us. 3 months later, they sent the invoice again so we explained to them again that the first visit was supposed to be free because they didn’t do anything. Again, they said they would look into it and get back to us. 4 months later, we received an email saying that the invoice is going to collections. Once again, we explained the situation - this time, to 2 people, one by email and one on the phone. We were told their supervisor, Thomas, would get back to us. It’s been a month since then and we still haven’t heard from them. Not only was their first technician incompetent, he didn’t communicate with the office that there would be no charge for the first visit. And after they threatened us to go to collections, they couldn’t be bothered to respond to any phone calls and emails.

FloHawks plumbing serviced my home last February, and I was disappointed with the experience. The plumber used shark bite fittings instead of more professional methods like copper solder or press, which I’ll need to replace for long-term reliability. He also left a mess, leaving drywall and debris on the floor after cutting. On top of that, he spent 30 minutes sitting in his van on an iPad and charged me for the time. I won’t be using FloHawks again and plan to rely on Port Orchard Plumbing, who has been fantastic, for future needs.

    2/6/25 Update: Tina reached out.

Why speak up now? At the time, arguing over 30 minutes and a small mess wasn’t worth it. But during recent plumbing work, I asked another plumber about SharkBites—and he agreed, you wouldn’t expect that from a professional.

    1. I wasn’t given options—just SharkBites. She apologized but defended their use. (Confirmed by two other professionals: pros use them for temp fixes, not standard installs.)
    2. She confirmed the plumber was there for 2 hours but only charged for 1.5. We disagreed on the discrepancy.
    3. She apologized for the mess left behind.

She offered to have the work redone but implied it wouldn’t be free. No thanks. You lost my trust and had a chance to fix it. You didn’t.

I should have called FloHawk the first time. Drain Pro quoted me $1,500 to install a baffle(thanks Ricky) and remove a metal divider lid (which I did myself. Ryan at FloHawk did the job for $392. . FloHawk really goes above and beyond my expectations with realistic prices that I can afford.

Timely and very nice in person, however,

    1) I sat around all day Saturday only to get rescheduled.
    2) They said a septic pump would cost $580 over the phone including the submittal to the county. They then added a $100 inspection fee once the bill was presented to me.

There are cheaper places to get your septic pumped that will be honest about the cost upfront.

For scheduling services Piper went above and beyond to get what we needed done in a timely manner. Will definitely use again.
