I needed to replace my generator, and I wanted to consider a more powerful one. Serghei did a thorough inspection of my existing system, explained to me the options, and quoted very reasonable prices. I felt confident and signed up for the service. They communicated with me very well via text and e-mail. On the installation date, the technicians arrived on time and completed the installation of the new generator in less time than I was expecting. Overall, I am very happy with their service and will use Prime Systems again for future HVAC needs.

We just completed a gas furnace to heat pump conversion and are currently very pleased with the result. Serhiy and his team at Prime Systems were punctual, courteous, and obviously skilled. We especially appreciated Iakiv, the lead technician on our job. They went above and beyond our expectations. There is a snag with our HOA, but that is on me and I've appreciated their support. I especially appreciated a discussion of the range of options and price points.
I am happy to recommend this team and plan to use them on both our home as well as our rentals if the need arises.

Taylor gets 5 stars for doing a fantastic job! He was prompt, professional and effective. In a few minutes, he figured out and fixed the gurgling issue I've had on and off since purchasing my mini-split unit from Black Lion a couple of years ago.
After my initial install from Black Lion, there were months of service calls and profoundly bad (okay, non-existent) customer service that left me with very deep regrets about having chosen Black Lion. Now, both Taylor as well as the last two techs who had come out for my annual servicing, have proven that Black Lion as a company has had a shake up in the most positive of ways since I purchased my unit from them a few years ago. As a customer experiencing these changes such as prompt responses, and techs that actually know what they're doing, I finally have confidence in Black Lion and that's a big relief around a big investment. And thanks again Taylor!

TLDR: at the very least, call Black Lion for an estimate, ask for Tony. He'll take great care of you before, during and after install.

I'm very happy to leave a review for Black Lion. My AC went out in September, but since the furnace was getting to the 25 year old mark, we decided to change them both out. Tony came out to give us an estimate. He was very helpful, took the time to explain the different options. I ended up getting 3-4 estimates, mainly because I realized that everyone installs different brands and equipment. The most important thing for us though was making sure that if we ever had problems, we'd have great tech support and customer service. We decided to go with black lion, given our experience with Tony and how patient he was with my questions. And because the reviews stated that customer service is really great.

They came out a few weeks later and did the install. Everything went smoothly. About a month later, our furnace was shutting down. I reached out to Tony and he helped us get someone out here the same day. Jesus came out and took time to explain everything to me. He was able to figure out what was happening. I appreciated his transparency and how thorough he was in assessing the problem. Fortunately, it was something that could be fixed and he even stayed a bit to make sure his adjustments fixed the problem. Jesus and Tony are amazing and I really appreciate how great the customer service was.

A way overdue thank you to Taylor for coming out to fix a leak in my ductless heat pump system over the winter holiday last month. I really appreciate the care and attention Taylor gave for fixing the leak cause - one of the flares was not installed correctly at the outdoor unit. Once he completed all of his work including new refrigerant, our heat in the home immediately improved and we were able to finally put away the space heaters! I'm looking forward to a hot day this summer to check out how cool the air conditioning will be! Also thank you to Ashley for helping raise up my concerns, and thank you to Jamie for discounting the repair work especially when it had been several years since Black Lion had done the original installation. I'll be booking my maintenance soon and requesting Taylor :) Thanks again!

Taylor B serviced my A/C and furnace a few days ago and replaced my make-up air damper actuator today. I was highly impressed with his professionalism—he was courteous, knowledgeable, and thorough in explaining the service and his observations. When he discovered the actuator part had been returned, he went out of his way to get a new, unopened replacement without hesitation, earning my trust through his dedication and cheerful attitude.

Black Lion did a fantastic job installing a heat pump & new furnace at our home. Everyone was easy to work. Greg helped us get what we needed and rearrange things when we changed our insulation time frame. Michael the electrician & his co worker that helped him & did the crawl space work did an excellent job. Can’t say enough positive things about the two men that installed the heat pump & furnace. Everything runs great and looks good. Thank you!! Definitely recommend Black Lion!!

I bought a heat pump rated to operate down to 5 degree fahrenheit. Lately the temp has hovered around 35 degrees yet the unit is turning into an ice block inside and out. I called Black Lion, they said they only offer a 1 year warranty on a $5k unit unless you buy the $220 per year service plan. Even a diagnostic visit is $155 + any work that needs done. Bottom line, don't buy a heat pump expecting to save money; if you do choose to buy one, don't buy from Black Lion.

Taylor was here to fix our AC unit and maintenance on the furnace. He was on-time, professional, so polite, explained everything he found in detail and with pictures. Honestly, it was the best service experiences I have had!

Black Lion originally installed my furnace. They provide regular annual maintenance for the unit. Brad came to do this yesterday. He was professional. He did a thorough check of the unit and system performance. He helped me decide on an alternate return filter to purchase since they stopped making the one Black Lion had originally recommended for my system. I am a very satisfied customer.
Update - 8/4/2025 - Jesus from Black Lion came out and diagnosed a failed thermostat and replaced it and set it up and showed me how to use it. Excellent job!

Jesus, is an excellent tech. He was able to resolve my pilot light issue very quickly. Plus he is just a very enthusiastic great guy. Thank you Jesus!

I would recommend finding a different company to install your furnace/heat pump. Half a year ago, we had them install a new furnace and heat pump since our old one broke in the middle of winter. In the summer, there was a defective sensor that had to be replaced that was still under warranty. Technician said it would take about 3 business days to arrive.

This is where things go poorly. A week and a half went by without any call from Black Lion, so I followed up with them. They cannot confirm if the part was ordered and said they will check with their parts manager. The next day, the thermostat stopped functioning and I scheduled them to come out to have that looked at and to replace the defective sensor if it arrives in time. The day of the appointment was a no call no show. I followed up with them that evening and the representative said someone will call from the office the next day. No one called me the next day so I again followed up with them and again no one called. I called the office again to speak with the manager the following business day and they said someone will call me back. I have very little faith that they will.

Taylor was thorough, efficient, and explained the process to us. He made suggestions that will help our system run more smoothly.

I read reviews when hiring various companies, and I obviously look for those with good customer service and quality work. What I usually don't get a feel for is what happens when you need them years after service. My experience with Black Lion was excellent, hence the 5 stars. Nothing really went wrong, but 4 years after installation I needed service that I thought was a little premature. The company worked with me so kindly and professionally. They answered all my calls and all my questions. They came to my house within days of contacting them. The 2 service people were respectful of my issue, my time, my home, and my money. It makes you feel good that you actually hired the right company in the first place. How often does that happen? I highly recommend them.

Overall very positive experience. We previously contacted Adam several years back, however never had the chance to actually contract the work. I reached back out to Adam this year, and he still remembered the past discussion. There were some complexities as the installation was in a high rise condo. Adam however was available all hours (late nite text responses) all days (weekends!) to discuss design/aesthetics/and optimal unit placement. We were finally able to agree on a design after a few weeks. Team came and completed the install in one day. Overall great experience, highly recommended!

Black Lion installed a new heat pump for us recently and we can't be happier with their work! The crew arrived early and was able to complete the installation in a single day. They left the work area clean after they were done and made sure we were informed of what they did and how to use the new system.

A couple days later we noticed that there seemed to be a rumble coming from the unit that was reverberating through the house. After mentioning this to Black Lion they quickly had a tech come out to investigate and remedy the matter free of charge. We'll certainly use them again for future HVAC and electrical needs.

I’ve been using Black Lion for my annual services and emergency services and they have always been great. Today, Taylor came out and outperformed them all. He went above and beyond to do some cleanup on a drain while servicing the AC, took time to thoroughly document and explain everything he did and did everything with a smile! Taylor was professional, clean, efficient, and a pleasure to have in the home. Black Lion, keep Taylor around!!!

Recommend technician named Jesus!! HE IS THE BEST WE EVER HAD!!!! He was very thorough on what he did. He also did more testing with guages and cleaning than previous technician.

We had the pleasure of working with their technician, Taylor, and I couldn’t be more impressed. These guys installed a furnace really poorly. It was too close to the wall and the noise from the system was loud.
Less than 2 years in - the hvac as issues with freezing pipes. You cal them to repair poor workmanship in the 1st place and they tell u to wait a week!
