Very professional, both on the initial phone contact and also Taylor, the technician who came to do the work. Very clear of the work being performed and what he found, even without me asking. Also very responsive to answer my questions. There was a small miscommunication problem and I was impressed on how quickly Taylor addressed it and solved it. So glad with the service provided that I'm planning to join the annual maintenance program.

I really wish I could give this five stars because the company was the best price for an A/C install.
However, the install team was pretty bad. There were on site safety concerns, poor communication and a lot of debris left behind.
There was no follow up for what the next steps were such as permits that are needed after the install but they charged my credit card without so much as a “hey, we are charging the rest of your bill today fyi”.
If you have a good install team..congrats.
If you have a bad one good luck!
Ps. We had to have them come back 4 times to get it to pass inspection. Management did not care..
UPDATE: We contacted management again after their response on google…yeah they still don’t care. It’s all a show :(

Had a new heat pump unit with a furnace installed a couple of months ago, replacing a furnace only that was 20 years old (also a Bryant). I wanted to wait until the system ran for awhile before leaving a review.

Overall I felt everything went very well, with the exception of a couple of small issues. They communicated very well from beginning to end, and were extremely fast to come back out when the system was glitching.

The installers were on time and worked fast. Easy to chat with and seemed to know what they were doing. One them had been installing for 6+ years and the other was 3+. The city inspector said the installation was done very cleanly.

The only issue I had was after installation the system was acting up a bit. They came out 2x before the last tech noticed that the wiring from the thermostat was incorrect. As soon as the correct wire was fixed it worked perfectly. Errors happen, and the good thing each time they came out immediately to work on it.

Would definitely recommend again, their pricing was very good and it looks and performs great.

Amazing service! The Jesus was honest, knowledgeable, and super friendly. He explained everything clearly, did a great job maintaining our fireplace, and saved us from an unnecessary replacement. Highly recommend!

Jesus serviced our gas heater in the basement - he was very polite and did a very good job. He even showed me how to remove the cover plate in case I needed to do so. I’ll call Black Lion the next time we need service!

We had an issue with the dishwasher, tripping the breaker. First time they checked the breaker and the panel, while doing some other work and said the breaker is fine.
In the separate service visit, they did an inspection and told us the issue is the dishwasher and charged us $250 for the visit. We changed the dishwasher, the issue became worse.
In the 3rd visit, the electrician initially said we need a new wiring from the panel to the dishwasher. When I explicitly asked to change the breaker, he did it and charged me $430 for that.
The issue was gone after that, but it took 3 visits, a new dishwasher and ~$700 on top of that to just change the breaker!
Avoid at all costs

Jose did an excellent job servicing our gas fireplace - efficient, thorough and respectful of space and time. He was professional and knowledgeable - a reflection of his expertise in his trade.

Taylor made an immediate great impression with his professionalism and courtesy. His real time update allowed us to fix what was needed same day vs. needing to reschedule. He also took the time to explain the inspection performed with right balance of information, and what I can expect post service. All around great experience from beginning to end. Would recommend Black Lion to everyone based on this fantastic experience.

Taylor did our annual furnace and heat pump servicing. He was superb! In addition to checking all the system components and cleaning, he took 39 pictures of all his servicing and brilliantly explained everything he did and why. Best service tech who has ever worked on our furnace/heat pump! He gets our highest recommendation!

Taylor went above and beyond the call of duty. He diagnosed the problem and took care of what needed to be done, thereby saving us about $5500 that the ”other” guy was going to charge us, and he did all of this with a smile. He even lent us some space heaters to keep us warm while our furnace was out. He was very friendly, polite and knowledgeable and we would not hesitate to call on Taylor and Black Lion again.

Taylor did a phenomenal job. Our furnace was not working and I did some intial diagnosis. He was coming in to fix my neighbors furnace with same issue and was gracious enogh to accomodate my request as well. It was pretty late in the evening, but he was super quick and efficient. He also took into consideration my diagnosis, and gave me discount on the overall bill.
