We moved into an older house that had two furnaces and no A/C. We called several places on my own and wasn't really impressed. A general contractor who was working on my house recommended to contact his neighbor who works for Expert Air Control. I was very impressed with everyone I worked with. From the sales guys to the installers, they were all top notch. They did a great job with my new HVAC system. I already recommended Expert Air Control to a good friend of mine.

The Expert Air Control team was amazing. They worked very hard to design and install the right AC and Heating solution for our home (a remodeled 1935 lake front cabin). They determined and through hard work created elegant solutions to work within our old home structure and challenges. The install team was especially great - working long days to get the system set up just right. I would highly recommend Expert Air Control to friends and family members (we found them as our neighbor recommended them to us after using them to install a ductless heating and AC service in their home).

Shannon was friendly and efficient in scheduling someone to come out and look at our system to give us the best recommendation for an air purification system. Cory was very knowledgeable and helpful in choosing the best system for what we wanted to accomplish. As a dental office we are on a tight schedule to have techs come out when we are not seeing patients, and they were very accommodating and willing to coordinate to work around our schedule. Kevin arrived promptly at the time I was given upon scheduling, and he got our new air purifier installed in a timely manor. I appreciate a company who does what they promise and respect your time. I would highly recommend Expert Air Control!!!

Dani was AMAZING. She is very knowledgeable and had my dad's furnace back up and running in short order. She explained everything clearly so we understood what she was doing. The team at Expert was great from start to finish. I didn't know what i wanted, the sales rep must have provided me 15 different quotes as he explained and i learned about different features and asked for revisions. Finally decided on one and set up the appointment.

The install was great, first day there were 4 or 5 technicians, and two returned the following week to finish up some additional work we requested during install. They were all great and I would recommend this team to anyone.

Very professional the whole way through from consultation to the installation of a new heat pump. Never felt pushed and appreciated honest discussion of options to replace our propane furnace. Really felt that the technicians were focused on doing a quality job and appreciated the communication throughout. Would recommend to family and friends!

Seth and Spencer were our technicians on June 29th, 2023 and they did an awesome job! We bought two ductless Mitsubishi units and they did a great job with the installation, going over the remote operation, and answering all of our questions. I would choose Expert Air over any other company out there for air conditioning units!

Jesse was our salesperson and he gave the same excellent service in deciding what system we would install and giving is timely quotes to consider. Thanks to everyone at Expert Air for the excellent help and awesome work!

We have worked with Corey and Jessie for our appliance sales and instal, both are great. The office staff are courteous and get our message to the right person for next steps. Over the years we have had excellent service staff.
This is who we trust with maintaining, or repairs and replacing.

Seems obvious but we have been very happy with the timeline and efficiency for installs and service. This is my go-to company for furnace and a/c maintenance with a recent addition of a generator.

A recent furnace issue had us in a chilly state. They did their best to get here the following day and get my house warming up in no time.

From my initial call to installation the service was fantastic. Toby was awesome meeting with me, walked us through the equipment and process, and always returned my calls quickly. Installers were on time, professional, polite, friendly and explained what they were doing for the installation. Cleaned up along the way and showed us how to use the system and remote. I highly recommend them. The entire crew was awesome, friendly and worked with a sense of purpose. The crew, Spencer and Seth are a great team!

Expert Air Control completed three projects for me so far. I had a Reznor heater installed in my shop, a whole home generator and they just completed a heat pump install.

The installations went great. The team (Jesse, Michael, Seth, and Aaron) went above and beyond to ensure the installations met every expectation. The team is professional and detailed oriented.

I cannot recommend Expert Air Control highly enough for their outstanding HVAC services and exceptional integrity. A couple of years ago, they installed a whole-house heat pump in my home, and the experience was nothing short of excellent. The team was professional, efficient, and the installation went smoothly without a hitch.

Last year, I had them perform a routine check-up on my system as we approached winter. Their seasonal maintenance was thorough, ensuring that everything was in perfect working order. Recently, I faced an issue where my thermostat was set to 67 degrees during some warm days, but the temperature inside was consistently around 75 degrees. Despite replacing the filter, the problem persisted.

I called Expert Air Control to diagnose the issue, and once again, their service exceeded my expectations. The technician Mark promptly arrived right on time, despite me running late from work he started right away on what he could outside. He cleaned the outdoor unit, and performed a comprehensive system check. He identified that the coil on the outdoor unit had become clogged with Cottonwood, affecting the cooling efficiency.

During his inspection, he or someone at the office discovered that I had not received my first-year free maintenance service, which was included with the original installation. I had no idea this service was even offered. Remarkably, they honored this first-year service and fixed the problem without charging me a dime, even though it was the third year since the installation. This act of integrity and commitment to their customers is truly commendable.

I had met a representative from Expert Air Control named Toby at the Tacoma Remodeling show a few months ago. Very personable individual and instantly felt a sense of honesty and comfort speaking with him.

I was starting my research for a new furnace as mine was limping along and new time was coming quickly for a replacement. I had spoken with several companies around that same timeframe as when I met Toby. Others were nice but didn't seem that interested in following up or being flexible.

So, when time came I reached out to Expert Air Control and scheduled a visit from them, Again Toby was what every company should learn by example from customer service/knowledge/Timely install to flexibility in pricing.

The two individuals that came to perform the work one was the owners son and another installer named Seth. Both were again were great examples of a family owned business and professional.

They did a fantastic job and cleaned up just as they found it. Nothing but great things to say about my experience with this company. Keep up the excellent work , customer service and follow through. Another great local family business.

Expert Air just finished installing my Navien NPE180A tankless water heater. Was given an install start window between 8 and 9 AM . 2 Techs promptly on site at 8:30. Meticulous install. All piping runs neat clean and arranged to allow for 2 other piping projects in process. Thorough clean up. Even cleaned part of the garage that was dirty when they arrived!! Jesse thought to recommended a UPS back up in case of power outage. Electrician placed the new outlet exactly where I could reach it and use the UPS if needed.

Excellent HVAC company in Puyallup, WA. Friendly and competent employees. They installed a Bosch Heat Pump and paired it to my existing Trane gas furnace, thus reducing my reliance on propane for the majority of the year. Bonus, I now have air conditioning as well. Wonderful customer service and always available for follow up questions.

2021 / Our current home. I figured I would try using them again. I again requested for Wes / no Wes. No call ahead.
Service guy was very nice. Didn’t offer to put on booties . Left marks All over my floor.
I don’t like to leave low stars is why I went with 4 with that being said I feel the customer service side should be a tad better.
2018 / We have used this customer for several years and the one technician that had come out the first few times (Wes) was fantastic, we then paid thousands of dollars to have a heat pump installed, which sometime after this they had merged. I had set up a maintenance agreement which I signed on a I-Pad to have our heat pump, furnace and gas fireplace inspected every 6 months, never happened. I called and they promised this would happen, never did. I then scheduled another appointment and they ended up being 2 hours later than I was told. Then we decided to make 1 more attempt only because of Wes being fantastic, then we ended up getting another technician when we specifically asked for Wes. It just seems the communication has gone down hill drastically.
We will be looking for another service provider going forward.

I would not recommend this company. They installed damaged parts and replaced those parts with more damaged parts.

We had Expert Air install a heat pump and two mini splits in our home. After a few months they both began to make a loud ticking noise that could be heard from another room. After their repair team diagnosed fan blades that had been bent in shipping I scheduled an appointment. No one arrived within the window of the appointment. After calling it turns out no one had written down the appointment on their end. This happened a second time. When the third appointment window came and passed I called to be told that they would be arriving soon. They arrived hours later. After going to clean the filters on the mini split I found the metal blades on the inside of both bent and damaged in several spots. I feel like it may not be worth my time to try to get them to return again after how much hassle they have caused me and how much work I have missed waiting for them.

Two years ago, Expert Air Control installed a Mitsubishi heat pump system with an air handler in my home. When I inspected the ductwork under the house this week, I found multiple serious issues that no professional HVAC company should ever leave behind: disconnected flex ducts, torn insulation with exposed fiberglass, unsealed metal joints, and duct lines lying directly on bare soil.

This installation completely fails to meet even basic standards for airflow, insulation, or moisture protection—let alone the standards expected from a Mitsubishi Diamond Dealer. It’s astonishing that work of this quality passed any kind of inspection.

The result: wasted energy, poor system performance, and air quality concerns. I strongly recommend anyone considering using this company request to see examples of their crawl-space work before signing a contract.
