My HVAC blower was malfunctioning. Technician came out on a Monday and serviced it. I tried using it Tuesday's evening and the blower did not come on. Immediately called them Wednesday's morning and was told a technician will follow up with me and schedule a visit. It's the following Tuesday as of this review and still no follow up from Cummings. Moreover, the total cost I was told from the initial visit was not the amount charged on my credit card. There was a surcharge which they did not disclose to me.

We got a new heat pump from Cummings 5 years ago and have been getting yearly tune-ups with them. Largely the system has worked great and the tune-ups have solved any minor issues that have come up. Considering the cost of the new system was significantly less than anyone else at the time, we've been very happy with Cummings.

Last spring we had a complete overhaul of our heating and cooling system. We were provided with a quote. Work was completed quickly and efficiently and within the quote provided. Very happy with the service we received over two years.

Two years ago I received excellent service from Cummings when I needed my heat pump repaired. Last month I attempted to call to get my thermostat upgraded, as was recommended by the tech that came out previously. Their phone system directs you into a text system that, based on the responses to my questions is run by an AI bot, which asked me when I would be available. I informed them of my availability and they said a dispatcher would contact me soon. The following day I texted back to let them know that no one had contacted me and got the following response: “Thanks for the update! I'll remind our team to follow up with you about scheduling. You'll hear from us soon to confirm your appointment. If you have any other questions in the meantime, just let me know!” Three days later, still no response. I will also note that they never answer their phone, choosing instead to direct you to their AI bot text service. I texted them again to inform them to cancel my request and got this patronizing response: “ I'm really sorry to hear about your experience and the delay in getting back to you. I understand how frustrating it is to feel ignored, especially after having a positive experience with us before. Your feedback means a lot, and I'll make sure our team knows about this so we can improve. If you ever decide to give us another chance, we'd love the opportunity to make things right. Thank you for your past support and recommendations.” Hey Cummings, I hope you figure out before it’s too late that your AI bot is turning away customers

Cummings scheduled me within 2 hours of me contacting them in reference to an issue with my heat pump during a very cold period in December. The technician was on time, knowledgeable and walked me through his diagnosis of any issue.

While I can't really rate their work, I will say the experience with one of their vans on the road today was dangerous. This company's van came flying up on my bumper flashing its headlights at me. Being just a few feet behind me at highway speeds was not only unprofessional, but also reckless. Something I would consider when hiring a contractor.

This occurred roughly at 11-11:30 this morning, on Hwy 101, on the west side of Olympia.

Nick arrived within the scheduled window. He was very pleasant, a clear communicator and very thorough. I always have lots of questions and he answered them all. I was lax on scheduling maintenance but going forward I will have them come yearly. Good job Nick and Cummings.

I've used Cummings Inc. twice and was very happy with the service and the prompt response to my emergency on that first call. It is my intention to have them visit every year for system inspection, servicing, and cleaning. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

Had a new furnace and heat pump installed. Cummings was very easy to work with. The guys were efficient and had us up and running in no time. They also helped us out with a few other maintenance issues. I felt they were very trustworthy and will definitely use them in the future if needed.

Our 13-year-old Crown Boiler stopped working, within 24-hours Lance the owner was at our home to see what the issue was. Within an hour he isolated it to the exhaust fan, told us he would have order a new exhaust fan which would likely take 1 to 2 days to receive the item.

Two days later one of his technicians, Cody was back at our house with the new part. Cody installed it and got our Boiler Furnace up and running within a few hours.

We were very happy and impressed with both technicians, they really know and enjoy their jobs. Yes, it was expensive, but most of the cost was the replacement fan, their labor charge was fair, if not slightly below market.

This was the second time we have used Cummings Inc. for Boiler issues, and we will use them again if needed.

Excellent service, professional people and a quality product they installed. We got a single mini split and a dual head unit with 2 heat pumps and they did an awesome job.

First of all I looked at on line reviews on 4 companies. Called them all for quotes and compared equipment offered. Negotiated a fair price with the highest reviewed company. They were on time professional and gave me what I asked them for with the installation fees lines location. They picked up all of their materials and followed up with a quick lesson on the thermostat operations.
Couldn’t ask for more of a crew and salesperson.We will be using them for our annual maintenance now as well.

I needed to replace my gas, forced air furnace after 27 years of use. Finding a reliable company seemed daunting to me, but after talking to Steve during his assessment of my needs, I was convinced I had the right company. There’s no hype or push to buy very expensive equipment that you don’t need. There was rapid scheduling and exceptional discounts. They were very professional, the installation was efficient! . They cleaned up the area extremely well after they were done installing, and they shared with me all the information I would need to manage things in the future. I couldn’t recommend this company more highly …due to their efficiency and professionalism. My system now runs 50% quieter, and gives me better heat distribution than I’ve had in the past. I’m very grateful for a company that I can trust in these days ..to give the performance and value that I paid for. Many thanks to Steve and his whole team for a great experience, a beautiful job, great value, and most of all…peace of mind.

5/1/24… I needed their help once again and again they provided me with excellent service and advice. They are now my total go to Heating air conditioning & servicing needs.

8/25/24.. Time for a yearly check up and everything is running beautifully. They have given me excellent service throughout the year. I can’t say enough nice things about this company and the people that work for them. They are genuinely interested in your welfare, keeping costs low and providing excellent service.

9/25.. scheduled an appointment for just general maintenance and a check up for the fall and winter season coming up ..and it was done efficiently. I was notified ahead of time appropriately and It was a very quick Evaluation… everything look good as I expected

Cleverly, the were able to minimize the outside duct work and route most of the lines through our crawl space preserving the external appearance of our home.
The installers were efficient, polite and sensitive to keeping the house clean inside and out. They kept us informed each step of the way. After they completed the work they walked through the entire project and gave us an quick run through of the best use of the system.
