We just got a new furnace and heat pump installed. We really appreciated the responsiveness of Steve who provided the quote, was available for questions, and stayed engaged throughout the scheduling, installation and checked in after as well. The staff that came to install were professional and did quality work. We are so happy we finally took the leap and got the heat pump.

Steve first came out and did our estimate- he was fantastic! Steve explained everything and made some recommendations that really helped us make our ultimate decision. We had 3 separate estimates and by far Rainier H&C far exceeded our expectations. Other places were either more expensive or unprofessional. Steve answered all my follow up questions quickly and accurately. The day of installation- the crew was on time and got right to work. They worked quickly and efficiently and cleaned up as if they had never been there. I am very appreciative of all their hard work and professionalism and thankful I will now stay cool this summer!!

Rainier Heating & Cooling replaced our old AC unit and furnace with a Daikin heat pump and electric air handler with backup heat strips.

Steve came out for the quote, answered all my immediate questions, and was quick to respond when I had follow up questions or requested proposals for different scenarios. There was no pressure to make any quick decision or to upsell me on anything throughout the process. All recommendations also felt grounded and practical, which I appreciated. Install was scheduled quickly and went smoothly, no complaints there.

I had a heat pump and electric furnace installed after my gas furnace died. Steve came out to give me a quote and I really appreciated that he took his time and talked through all the details. He was focused on more than just sales (unlike a few other companies who also gave me a quote) and went over all the technical details. Additionally, Rainier Heating was able to match a better price I got from another company. On the day of installation, the crew did great work! They were very polite, hard working, and ensured everything was done correctly. After installation I had a few issues with the aux heat coming on when it shouldn’t be running and Mike was quick to adjust the settings to avoid this. Highly recommend Rainier Heating - great service and they really care about their customers!

Great experience from the first appointment with Steve who came out to evaluate the situation and make recommendations all the way to the installation. We had decided to get at least 3 quotes but Rainier Heating was the only company that worked to help us get the best system while not breaking the bank. The comparisons between the companies was night and day. In addition, their installation crew was very professional. They worked quickly and then made sure that we were happy with everything before they left. If we move and need a new system or repairs we would definitely call on them again. We can't recommend them highly enough and can honestly say that you can't go wrong if you hire them for your heating and cooling system.

Rainier Heating and Cooling saved us from replacing our entire HVAC system when it wasn't needed. We had another company (with a once great reputation) doing regular check-ups, but each recent visit involved fear tactics that the unit could suddenly fail at any moment, and with each tech giving different reasons for this impending breakdown. Their sales rep gave us a very high quote and tried to pressure us due to new regulations starting in 2025. Not only were the regulations irrelevant to us, but the quote we later got from Rainier was nearly $6000.00 less! But it doesn't stop there...
Our Rainier sales rep suggested that we hold off on replacement until one of their techs could come out and confirm that our system was nearing failure. Not only did he do a full diagnostic, but went through everything he did and what he would expect to happen if a part was failing. After an amazing lesson on our HVAC system, he told us that nothing at all was wrong with our system and that we have a few years yet before the first part might fail, and what that should cost.

Rainier makes every effort to resolve problems as fast as they can. My 93 year old neighbor was overheating in house due to coolant leak. They came out immediately, did a temporary fix to get her through the hot days until they could come out and repair properly which they did the next week. Thank you

Rainier H/C installed our system five years ago and just did our annual check-ups. The system continues to work flawlessly and the service technicians were speedy and very professional. I give my strongest recommendations for this company.

Rainier heating and cooling were wonderful to work with and we would recommend them if you are looking for a solid experience from start to finish! We were looking to replace our ducted central gas furnace with a ducted heat pump and solicited 5-6 quotes and rainier ended being the most fair in our opinion. Steve was very patient and thorough with the quote and my questions. The installation team led by Austin were respectful and hardworking.

Had a Bosch heat pump added to the existing furnace last year, all of the planning and communication went great and my questions were addressed. The install team did a great job in one day, and they lined up the necessary inspection and helped with my rebates. A year later when I reached out, they were quick to answer and help me resolve any questions for me.

The unit worked great at cooling all summer and cheaper to heat in the winter, so overall a win win.
