We had a wonderful experience working with Ranger Heating & Cooling to get a ductless heat pump with 2 minisplits installed at our home. Joe was helpful and thorough in the initial consultation. On the day of install, Tyler and Jacob did an incredible job removing our old furnace so we could reclaim the closet where it was housed. David and Michael installed our new heat pump system - I am very impressed at the high level of quality in their work! They gave us a comprehensive walk-through at the end with lots of space to ask questions. I highly recommend Ranger - loved their attention to detail, quality workmanship, and personable team. We are thrilled with our new heat pump system!

Michael, David, and Lucas did amazing work installing my ductless heat system. The whole process through Ranger Heating & Cooling, starting with Donny coming out for the initial assessment, to the scheduler who called to put us down for the install, to Michael, David, and Lucas coming out to do the work was a great experience. They are all very kind, , extremely knowledgeable professionals who were very patient as I asked random questions and very thorough in responses to questions about and during the process, the installation of new equipment, and removal of the old . Michael and David are the best. I definitely give them high recommendation.

Daniel was amazingly friendly and knowledgeable. He took his time explaining all of the nuances of my Trane heat pump system and adjusted several settings on the thermostat to maximize the heating, efficiency and performance of the unit. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better person to come to my home and show me how the system works and how to maintain it.

Bahjah provided outstanding 5-star service during our home furnace inspection. He was thorough, personable, and very efficient with his time. He did an excellent job explaining our system and the improvements that could be made. We would absolutely recommend his services and look forward to continuing with Ranger Heating and Cooling.

Had a great experience dealing with Ranger. Donny was fantastic helping diagnose my issue and getting my squared away with quotes and info on which system to replace my 16 yr old HVAC units.

The pilot light in my fireplace would not ignite, and Mike Russell and his colleague came out to service the unit. They were courteous, professional, and respectful of my home, and everything was handled efficiently. It’s clear they take pride in their work. I highly recommend Ranger Heating and Cooling for their reliable and honest service.

Ranger did a quick and very efficient change out of an all new HVAC system. We had their bid on a Monday and by Wednesday afternoon it was finished.
We are finally warm!

We were happy as heck with the sales and service of the team from Ranger that worked on our furnace replacement. We had a nearly 30 year old oil furnace that we replaced with an electric air handler and heat pump. We had already received other quotes and were ready to go with one when we ran into Donny at the Tacoma home show. He convinced us to get one more quote from Ranger. He did a great job looking at what we had and making recommendations. He had the installation manager (?) Dominic come out and also make sure all that he recommended was correct and we ultimately had a great price for a really quality product. David, Michael and Joey were at the house on time both days that it took to complete the project - brought us space heaters to keep the house warm when we didn't have heat for a day - and cleaned up better than any crew we have had at our house doing work. At the end they walked us through each part of the installation - thermostat, filter replacement and the outdoor unit. We would absolutely recommend this team specifically, and Ranger as an HVAC company.

Joe and the team at Ranger Heating did a great job again. Dominic and the crew on site kept things on time, clean and looking great. We’ve worked with Ranger on a few projects and appreciate their professionalism and great work.

Ranger is my choice for HVAC and has been for over a 10 year time period. I have a complete system they installed in 2015 and have a regular service plan with them. They have the best price for regular servicing of equipment so I recommend them to all my clients for servicing too. (I'm a Real Estate Agent)
They are reliable, easy to schedule with, and the staff is terrific. I really like Liz who usually is the one to field my calls for scheduling and helps me iron out any problems that may arise with report details or billing questions.
Bahjah is usually my tech and he and I get along great. He is clear with explanations and recommendations and represents the company well.
My most recent request was to have Ranger install a return air vent from our upper floor to the furnace to make the temperature more comfortable upstairs in hotter months. We had a very short window of time where we would have insulation removed from the attic while we had other work being performed at the same time, and thankfully Ranger was able to accommodate our schedule.
The original plan had to be modified once the wall was opened up, once they realized exactly the location of current venting and space available. They explained the need for the change and got my approval before pivoting to plan B.
Daniel and Ken performed the installation in a timely and professional manner, and worked well with the other contractor who was working in the same area.
We will not be able to test how the return will improve the comfort level upstairs until the summer weather returns, but we are confident that the improvement to the system is worth the investment.
I appreciate Ranger for their service and care and I highly recommend them to others too.

I can’t say enough about how great my experience with Ranger Heating and Cooling was. The initial contact was handled professionally and informatively by Donny Rogers who provided numerous options and answered all my questions. Specs and financing were explained clearly and after making an informed choice, the team at ranger took over and quickly scheduled my installation. Josh Reed and his team did a great job and took the time to educate me about the system. The install was quick and my HVAC system up and running with the whole team pitching in to make sure the site was left with with no damage or debris. I’d encourage any one looking for an HVAC system to choose Ranger for your install.

Tyler and Jean were very professional and knowledgeable about their equipment and how to install it, and were very flexible when it came to having to relocate our thermostat. We appreciated having both of them working on our project, and put our minds at ease.

Josh, Jackson, and Kyle were outstanding. We had two systems installed and these guys were professional, respectful, honest, and super nice to us and our dogs. I felt very comfortable with them in our home. They worked hard to get everything finished in a day and explained what they did clearly and simply. They were neat and tidy, making sure our home remained clean throughout the process. The overall experience was exceptional and I would recommend Ranger and these guys to anyone. We had our furnace replacement done with Josh and Kyle. They are very efficient and professional. They came right on scheduled time with enough notice. They explained their process clearly, and they are also very helpful in addressing our concerns. The installation was done within the time they estimated and everything was a smooth and easy process for us. The new furnace is working great!

Ranger did a great job on all aspects of my furnace replacement. I thought their bid was good after getting two others. Donny did a great job on the inspection and recomendations. He came accross as knowledgeable and professional. The lead installer Josh and his assistant Kyle did a great job as well.

Ranger replaced my Trane furnace. Their sales person quoted me for a correctly sized system unlike other companies that simply quoted me on a direct replacement. This is not only better for my home but ended up saving me some money. The install crew was on time, kept me up to date on everything and did a nice clean install of the the Trane furnace in a single day. So far the new system has been working well, is quieter than my old Trane furnace and and happy with everything.

Ranger was very price competitive relative other quotes I got and provided a better, longer warranty (as long as it's service yearly by them). This is fine since their service fees are reasonable.

The only knock, and this isn't going to lose them a star, but they did suggest a heat pump due to the local power company rebates, they weren't pushy like other companies, but heat pumps don't pencil out in Washington. With the electric rates, a single therm of heat is actually 18% more expensive when running a heat pump vs a 97% efficient gas furnace. Not to mention the install cost is nearly 3x. While they may be "more efficient" the electric vs gas rate means the cost never pencils.

Today we had the pleasure of having Ranger Heating & Cooling to come out and service our system. We had Bahjah Mcleod as our technician, he was very friendly, professional and detailed in his work and findings. He was earlier than expected. Kept us informed through the whole process and we will be using their services because of his great customer service and professionalism very soon for another service. We are glad we got him as our service tech, he was easy to work with & his communication exceeded our standards! Thank you Ranger Heating and Cooling we can’t wait for the next service!!!!

I am extremely pleased with how the install of our Furnace and Heat Pump. Thank you to Josh, Jackson and Kyle for their professionalism and their attention to detail when installing the unit. These 3 were so knowledgeable about the product that when explaining it to me I left with a better understanding of the product I got. My wife and I are grateful that we went with Ranger Heating and Air. If we hadn't gone to the fair we would have never had it done. 5 stars from me. Hope you choose them, you won't regret it.

I had a great experience with Ranger Heating and Cooling from start to finish. My parents’ furnace suddenly stopped working, and after doing some troubleshooting myself (and watching more YouTube videos than I expected), I concluded the inducer motor was likely the issue. I called Ranger Heating and Cooling, and from that first call, everything felt reassuringly professional.

Liz, who helped us on the phone, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. She went above and beyond by pulling up my parents’ service record all the way back from 2019 and letting us know the furnace was still under warranty. She clearly explained that the part itself was covered and that we would only need to pay a small labor fee. That alone was a huge relief.

Scheduling the appointment was seamless. The text message updates were very helpful, and the online system for checking the estimate and cost breakdown was impressive—honestly far more modern than what I expected from a furnace company. Their whole workflow felt smooth and well-designed, almost Amazon-like in how easy it was to follow and understand everything.

The technician who came out was just as professional. He fixed the issue efficiently, explained what had gone wrong, and walked my parents through a few things to keep an eye on in the future. I also appreciated that all of this information was accessible through the link provided in the appointment text message—it made everything very transparent and easy to review later.

Overall, the entire experience was smooth, professional, and stress-free. Ranger Heating and Cooling made what could have been a frustrating situation surprisingly easy, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again if our furnace ever needs work in the future.

I definitely recommend Ranger if you find yourself looking to have your furnace replaced and or serviced. Donny was great and able to troubleshoot the issue faster and more accurately than the other techs that we had out while attempting to get second opinions. As for the actual install, the guys that came out were really respectful, knowledgeable and were able to install the new furnace in a few hours. Miles, Tyler, Dom, and Jackson from Ranger Heating & Cooling were great through the whole process of buying and installing our Mitsubishi mini split system. They were finished in a few hours and everything turned out perfect. The price was good also and I recommend them to everyone.
