Jacob came out, at least an hour before our appointment time and explained how he was going to attempt to unclog the pipe. Based on what we were saying was going on, he thought that was the problem, which would fortunately be the best and cheapest scenario. He went through the septic output area instead of removing the toilet, which would be more expensive. I appreciate the savings in that respect. He ended up getting the clog out and saw it pass through, so we visually saw that that was in fact the issue. He solved our problem, was knowledgeable, courteous, and explained everything for our understanding. They are pricey, but honestly, I don't know any plumber that's not expensive. He didn't leave a mess and took his shoes off when entering our house. I would recommend them if you need plumbing services. None of the services below fit the description, but we had a clogged pipe.

A couple nights ago I heard a loud crash from my kitchen, a quick search found that my undermount sink had fallen into the cabinet below

I called American Mains and Drains, and Matt responded quickly. He was great to work with, and while we were figuring out what options to take for fixing the problem he made sure I had a sink and dishwasher working in the meantime.

He reinstalled the undermount, and fixed a drain issue I didn't realize I had from before the crash.

The team did a great job. Provided comprehensive, direct and quick estimate for a tankless hot water tank and removal of the old tank. Was able to provide feedback on the best product to meet our household's needs. Installation was smooth and the crew was communicative and informative about the process. I contacted Matt after the rains caused my basement to flood with about 3’ of water. He offered to come out and drain my basement for a very reasonable price. However, since I’m also in the trades, he offered me a DIY solution to resolve the issue on my own. That’s what I did and saved myself a few bucks. He didn’t have to do that. The next day he called me back to check up on how everything went. Above and beyond customer service as I wasn’t even technically a customer of theirs yet. However, I will be hiring him to do the work needed to prevent any further floods into my basement. Really stand up kind of business

Fantastic service. I was able to get an appointment within a few days of calling the company. The crew was able to install a new water tank, faucet, and sink plumbing in 1/2 a day. Our water heater seemed to be not running as hot & felt it was time to have it looked at. I called around for local small business plumbers and found Matt. He came out inspected my system. We run on a well and our filtration system isn’t working great. Dirt and debris have accumulated into the water heater over time. He showed me options and worked with me to have the right fix! I appreciate the time spent to talk me through all my questions. I love the new filter system and water heater! Hard water be gone!

We called this morning 10-30-25 needing help with a leak we found when taking out our old bathroom vanity. Matt was able to come the same day and knew exactly what was wrong. He had all the parts needed to repair quickly. He was amazing to work with, respectful of our home and good with our pup. We will definitely call again for all our plumbing needs.

I had an excellent experience with AMD. From the initial call to the completion of the job, their service was top-notch. The plumber was punctual, professional, and clearly explained the issue and the solution. They fixed my leaky faucet and toilet quickly and efficiently, and the price was very reasonable. I had 2 leaking hose bibs on my house that had been bothering me for a bit. I called this company because they used to be a small family owned business and I liked that. Something has changed and now they operate like every other home service company and try to gouge every customer for as much as possible.

They came out and replaced 2 hose bibs for me. The guy was friendly, but when he showed me the price it was around $1300. I am not a plumber, but I have fixed many plumbing related things in the past. I told him that the price seems very high and I asked if there was anything he could do. He explained that these parts are very expensive, not available at home depot and it is a very skilled job etc. I felt guilty for calling them out to the house and then wanting to not use them since the guy was nice. So I reluctantly said ok.

I was a little shocked when he was done in less than 15 minutes including running my credit card for payment. I realize that I am paying for an end result, not an hourly rate, but it just confirmed that it was not the big job he was implying it was.

After he left, I just felt taken advantage of. I looked at the part numbers on the hose bibs and checked the local plumbing supply house. They were $55 each. Also, the next time I went to use each of the hose bibs I noticed that neither one of them was mounted securely to the wall. To be fair, my house is a 1995 and the trim board is softer than a new one would be, but bigger screws would have done the job.

I normally don't go on google and complain, but every time I use my hose, I get that feeling of being taken advantage of and I want to spare someone else that situation. When they sent me yet another review request email months after the service, I decided to take them up on it this time.

It is just a shame that all of the small home service businesses have been bought up by investors and they have lost their care for their customers. In the future when I need a plumbing service of any kind, I will not be calling these guys for fear of needing a loan to cover the repair. I will be searching hard for the guy out there who is trying to earn an honest living and not 1-2 days pay on a 15 minute job.

I called for an amazing plumber for a sewage backup. And I definitely got one! Matt was amazing, he even walked me through what he was doing! The camera part was awesome! He showed me the "intestines" of my house, which was awesome. Also, extremely personable. Would 100% recommend!
