I just wanted to give a shoutout to Evan. He was very professional when he came to provide a quote for services we needed. He sat and explained everything and the different options that were available. He went above and beyond what we expected and spent as much time as it had to take to share knowledge and explain about how the process would go. My wife and I are first time homeowners so he was very patient. The fact that he was willing to explain everything, was professional, and willing to get it within our budget made it a no brainer to go with Evan from Hunt's Services. He is friendly guy that takes pride in his work.

When it came time to doing the electrical work, he took care of business and was able to take care of everything even with a few surprises along the way. He adapted and figured out a solution to the problems. If you're thinking about getting electrical work done, I would recommend Evan! We will definitely call him if we ever need anymore electrical work done.

One last thing, every interaction with anyone from Hunt's Services was professional, friendly, and made you feel like they weren't just after your money. Thomas was very thorough in determining a solution for our situation. He was very helpful and was able to express himself well. We didn’t have to pay for their initial assessment.

My 3yo Navien combi boiler quit working after a power outage, and we couldnt get it to turn on again. Hart was the first place to come to assess it. The tech, Jesse, told me that it was ruined due to being being clogged up by sediment from the galvanized pipes in our 101yo home. A new combi boiler would run about $20k or more. He said that Naviens were not as good quality as the boilers Hart installs and needed more frequent servicing. Furthmore, he said that we would have to replace all the pipes in our home, a project that would take a week and could cost as much as $40k.

I got another opinion.

Jesse never opened the boiler, did not check settings, did not flush it or otherwise do any diagnostics on it. The tech from the second company did. The second tech said the boiler is great. It needs a service and to be flushed, plus its pressure was low, possibly due to our city getting air into water lines during routine maintenance last summer. This second tech didn't find the leaks that Jesse claimed were a huge issue and said that our water lines, like the boiler, are fine. He also identified a mistake with the original installation, which likely led to the boiler having error codes.

Hart's ballpark estimates for work were $20k or more for a new boiler and $20-40k to replace all plumbing in our home, including the plumbing we had done as part of a remodel just 3 years ago. The second tech charged me $450 and everything is running perfectly now.

We do not recommend Hart for anything to do with a boiler or a combination boiler/water heater.

I was happy with the quality of work and with the cost but the communication is terrible. Here is what happened with my appointment.

1) I scheduled a date and time over the phone so there would be no confusion and since I was going to be gone most of the day and needed to let the tech into our house.
2) The day before our appointment I got a text and email letting me know that our tech would be arriving today.
3) I replied to both stating that I thought the appointment was tomorrow. The email bounced and I got no text reply.
4) On the morning of the appointment I called to confirm the time of arrival and was told it would be no problem.
5) 30 minutes before I had to leave I got a call from the tech saying he would be there in 30 minutes.
6) We were able to reschedule the service for "after 2:00 PM".
7) At 3:00 PM I got a call from the tech letting me know he'd be there in "about an hour".
8) The tech arrived at 5:30 and mentioned something about "our computer system going bonkers" when I mentioned the communications issues. He also said the morning meeting "went long" which is why he wasn't able to show up when originally scheduled.

I realize stuff happens and traffic is an issue and I'm in no way blaming the tech but why not just keep me updated? This seems like a systemic problem.

Harts and their staff are wonderful!!!! The customer care team walked me through all our options. The installers were kind, courteous and respectful. I can’t say enough about how happy we are with their service!

Tyler was our technician and he was great! We had a leak in our water heater. He explained all our options and walked us through exactly what he was going to be doing. Very courteous and very professional. Had never used Harts before but will definitely be the first plumber we call next time we need help!

I recently had the pleasure of hiring Trevor for some electrical work at my home, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the service he provided. From start to finish, Trevor was professional, punctual, and extremely knowledgeable.

He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure I was comfortable with the work being done. His attention to detail and commitment to safety were evident throughout the project. Everything was completed on time, within budget, and to a very high standard.

I've had Harts services out twice. Once for a sink that had a slow drain and then again for leaking found. Jovaugh helped get my sink flowing again thank you so much! Then, Tyler came to take a look at the leak and he did a full thorough inspection of my whole homes plumbing! God is so good! He showed me water valves and how to turn them off. Great helpful person. While I didnt take advantage of the diagnostic test (avg just over 100) i was grateful of his time and review. Althougg the staff they have are good, the costs are little higher (est about extra 5k for a re pipe job) after getting second opinions. Consider your options, get second opinions, but if you do choose them they've got some solid people on board.

Spencer and Stephen were a joy to have out today. They immediately addressed my concerns, fixed the problem, and answered all my questions. They were at ease working in my 1905 home and safety was a top priority. I would not hesitate to have them do electrical work for me again.

From start to finish, I have nothing but good things to say about having Harts handle our plumbing problem. I got an appointment the day after I called and our plumber Syrus did an outstanding job. He communicated every useful detail about the pricing and options and explained pros and cons of each choice he estimated. Their dispatch was friendly and I did not have to wait on hold too long for help.

I had a septic backup that caused some pipes to break under my house. It was a real mess. I called Harts and while they couldn't get out on Friday did get out on Monday morning and got everything fixed and cleaned-up by Tuesday. Jesse Hawkins and Scott Deniger, and his apprentice, were so great. I used Harts in the past when I lived in Tacoma and I am so thankful they are now servicing Bainbridge Island.

Harts has been amazing, I had a hot water tank fail and flood my back room. Harts was able to get their technician Christopher Looney out in just a couple of hours. Being it was Friday, it was great to be able to have a resolution without having to wait until the following week. Chris was fantastic. He analyzed the situation and went over options, and worked up a bid right away. Chris was able to remove the old tank and install a new one while he was here. The workmanship was impeccable, and Chris ran through usage and maintenance with me. I would highly recommend Chris and Harts for any of your needs. I’ll also add that the customer service representative on the phone was fantastic as well 🤩🙌

We had some older pipes that needed some work to try and extend its life and prevent us from having to tear up floors and rip out walls. Brennan and Mark were the technicians that came out. They were very professional, explained the whole process, respected my home, and were very nice. The job even took longer than anticipated (and on a Friday too) but they worked hard the entire time.
