Alex was was amazing. Got my furnace back up and running and showed me how to change my filter. Excellent work.

Had a new boiler installed and the electrical wiring was down incorrectly. Ricardo came out today and was able to rewire it correctly. Would definitely recommend him for future service.

The staff and field service operators are always very knowledge and friendly. I highly recommend their services. I have had Danny work on our systems many times and he has always been great!

I was told I no doubt would need to replace my garbage disposal. But the first person said the installer would review the issue before installing. Luckily a plumber/installer was in the area and said he would stop shortly. He assessed the issue, fixed the problem and it is now working fine.
I commend both!! What wonderful service and wonderful people. Honest, direct, on time!! A+++!

BEWARE!! Tried a low cost furnace tune-up for $59 and regretted it. Technician came with a trainee and spent almost 1 hrs. Technician showed the many photos, over a dozen, of the 19 year+old furnace (Lenox) and said there were some problems that were a concern. Lifetime is 20-22 years, maybe 25 with great maintenance. But we had some leaking and the exchanger had rust and some small (pin head) holes that could affect the performance. They closed up the furnace and said I should think about a replacement in the next 1-2 years. Also they did put in a filter that I had previously bought. Now the NIGHTMARE began....our Lenox furnace that had been operating fine till the tune-up would not turn on or produce any heat. WHAT?? I called Burkhardt office and spoke with a receptionist who eventually passed me on to a manager. The temp was to go down to low 50's and the house was already getting colder. The manager began by discounting my story and stating that her technicians found numerous problems with the furnace. I advised her that the furnace was working fine up until her people did a purely preventative tune-up. I demanded that someone return after 630pm that same day (due to our other obligations). Another technician eventually arrived and after about 30 minutes diagnosed the problem as having been caused by the tune-up guys replacing the cover and pinching a wire that shorted out a circuit board, thereby rendering the furnace useless. Technician was honest that it was Burkhardt's fault. He said he didn't have the part but would return the next day and get the furnace back to running. So we spent a cold night with extra blankets and extra sweatshirts. The next day it was repaired and the Technician profusely apologized for his coworker ineptitude. There was no charge (obviously) for the extra visits or the replacement parts. We did decide to get a new furnace but BURKHARDT HEATING was not one of the companies we got estimates from. So they lost a $6k possible sale! This is NOT the end of the story. Several days later I noticed that the charge went thru for $59 for the tune-up! I was livid! I called and eventually was forwarded to the manager I had previously spoken to. She did reverse the charge but offered no other compensation for the 2 days of no heat caused by her people. All I can say is BEWARE of companies who rely on untrained technicians. I would like to think that the damage done to my furnace was accidental but my law enforcement background leaves me skeptical. If it was intentionally done....
YOU PICKED THE WRONG GUY!

I recently was told by another company that our furnace needed an expensive repair and that we may be better off investing in a new unit. Before moving forward I called Burkhardt and a rep came out to give us a quote on a new unit. While assessing our existing furnace he found that there were 2 wires that had disconnected causing our furnace not to function. Not only did Elliot get our furnace running, he saved us $6,000! He was very professional and upfront. Will definitely be switching our business to Burkhardt. Thanks Elliot, you saved the day.

I was having an issue with my basement water drain. I called Burkhardt and they sent someone out, within a couple hours. Derek W. responded and took care of business! The price was very reasonable and Derek W. was very professional. I would definitely recommend Burkhardt.

Jake was fantastic. I didn't know if our thermostat or furnace was malfunctioning. Jake determined it was the thermostat and replaced it. He went over the new thermostat with me and also discussed the status of our 22 year old furnace. I am very happy with Jake and Burkhardt.

Bryan came to my old home and had to look at a lot of different electrical problems. He was on time, kind, understanding, and explained things so I could understand next steps. I’m looking forward to developing a new working relationship with this company!!

Danny from Burkhardt Heating & Cooling came out today for routine furnace maintenance, and I was very impressed. He arrived on time, was friendly and professional, and explained everything clearly as he went along. When he found that a repair was needed, he was able to take care of it right away instead of scheduling another visit. He even made a quick trip to get the part so the job was done the same day, and I was still able to make it to my daughter’s sporting event on time. I truly appreciated his thoroughness, efficiency, and respect for my schedule. Excellent service and I feel confident knowing my furnace is in good hands.

My wife and I are new home owners. So, it was disappointing to hear that we’d need a new furnace and AC unit. Especially because we didn’t account for it. We are lucky to have called Burkhardt. Elliot, one of their sales reps, was able to set us up with a great financing package. When Troy and Andy (install team) showed up they worked diligently from 8 am to 3 pm to get the job done. All three guys were very professional. The install team left the place how they found it and were able to completely turn our new furnace around without any issues. Additionally, they worked to meet ALL of our little requests along the way. From our quote to install, everything took about a week and a half. An initially stressful situation was relieved by hiring the right crew. No need to look anywhere else. Do yourself a favor and call Burkhardt.

Sean was fantastic! He was quick and efficient and made everything so easy and was even able to change out the part I needed right away. He was very kind and even said hello to my pets while he was here. Couldn't be more pleased with the outcome!

I just had my first visit from Burkhardt and I’m so glad the previous owners had used them! Alex was my tech and he was AMAZING! Super efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. He also dealt very well with the two dogs who were unexpectedly visiting. Alex was able to complete the service call in under an hour (he was also right on time) and even took the time to show me a few tricks on my thermostat. As a new homeowner I can’t tell you how much I appreciated his time and patience. Overall I am super impressed with Burkhardt and with Alex and highly recommend!

The guys arrived within the time they were scheduled. Great communication. Jim & Jared were friendly & professional. Jared snaked my drain piping for my bathroom and Jim fixed the piping that my previous “not so handy handyman” installed.

Made a same day appointment to troubleshoot an odor coming from our furnace. The technician arrived within the time frame and was thorough in his work. He quickly identified the issue and fixed it, and the price was very reasonable.

Emergency furnace failure needed prompt service in bitter cold. Called early AM on a Saturday. Got in touch with Danny who was courteous and knowledgeable. Had the heat back on the same day. Danny had great communication skills and informed me each step of the way. Second great service from Burkhardt in time of need. Signed up for membership maintenance program and they will be the first call I make.

Great job by the folks at Burkhardt. I had several “small” jobs I needed to get taken care of, including a difficult track light install which they did with efficiency and speed. Would definitely recommend them for big or small jobs.

I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to get same day service for two separate issues! Keith the plumber was very friendly and although he wasn’t able to fix my issue, he connected me with a contractor who could and gave honest advice on how to approach the problem, which was very appreciated! I also worked with Thomas and Brian who were also very friendly and were able to fix my thermostat issue with ease. I will definitely work with Burkhardt again in the future!
