I called and left voice message. I also sent online details for plumbing problem. There is no response from the business. It says same day service. You don't respond within 2 days then how can you say same day service. It did not work out for us.

Had to replace sewer lateral piping from house to street. Andrew did entire replacement quickly and without having to disturb the new front landscaping and pavers. Trenchless piping was magic. Andrew is extremely nice to work with too.

I have used Comet Plumbing repeatedly. They are honest, fair, efficient, and clean. I am consistently impressed by their knowledge and experience, and recommend them wholeheartedly.

We thought that there might be root in our sewer system, but weren't sure. Andrew came out quickly and with his camera was able to do a through inspection of the sewer line and found that we had probably a dozen location with root intrusions, a belly of water, and a failed unpermitted repair. Using trenchless technology he was able to replace the entire sewer line while minimizing damage to the driveway. He was always pleasant to work with and very communicative.

We had a leaking water main, Andrew came out on the 4th July and gave us a quote and returned promptly on the 5th to replace the pipe between the meter and the house. Happy with the result and will contact him in future for our plumbing needs.

Can’t say enough about the quick response and courteous service. We had a rusted pipe outside due to someone installing dissimilar metals. Andy helped sort out the issue and didn’t mind when my two sons insisted on watching the whole operation. The price was very fair. 100% recommend.

Andrew Rhodes, owner operator of this company does good honest work. I first had him in 2010 and have called him three additional times. In 2014 major work involving replacement of pipe connection to the house and pipe replacement under the house was completed. Permits were pulled and the city of Los Altos inspector went under the house upon completion of the work giving me paper work of endorsement of a job well done meeting all requirements and approval of city code. Mr. Rhodes knows his business.

Andrew was wonderful. We had a water heater leak and Andrew was able to come out on a Sunday and replace it. He did a thorough job, communicated well, and even made improvements to the "poor" way our old water heater had been installed. HIGHLY RECCOMEND!

Andy and his team were great! We had a pipe break and called Comet a week before Christmas. Andy was able to fit us in and get a temporary fix in place before Christmas dinner and start the mold cleanup effort. Andrew rocks! We had a sudden sewer blockage today. Initially he could not come until Monday (understandably due to his work load). When I mentioned 3 women in a house with no shower or toilets working, he made room to come within 2 hrs. Problem fixed and NO emergency pricing. Great price and work. Very friendly as well. He gets all future work from me.

Excellent service. I am very new to the area, reached out to Andy in the morning with my unforeseen kitchen sink issue. He was able to be onsite that afternoon. I was running late for our appointment; but he waited, assessed what was needed and was able to complete the job in 30 min. Friendly, reliable, and better pricing then a few other calls i made that morning. Service included a 30 day warranty on newly installed parts which i felt was a major bonus. I highly recommend Comet and will be my go-to moving forward should any issue arise.

I called Comet to clear a clogged pipe beyond the garbage disposal. Andrew did not have an easy time with job as it is very a very small kitchen and there were some unexpected problems with the repair. Nevertheless he finished the job and charged a very fair price. Later I had an issue that might have been connected to the original problem or not. But Andrew said there would be no charge for that fix. I will always call this company now for any future plumbing needs.

My husband and I woke up Xmas Eve to a wonderful gift from our house: a broken water heater with NO hot water. Since we were hosting our family Xmas dinner, this was quite the curve ball in our plans.

After basic troubleshooting, we realized the 28-year old water heater had finally croaked. We called several plumbers only to find voicemails. Just when we were getting disheartened and brainstorming back-up plans, Andy called back. Yes!

He came for the house call and evaluated our situation. He agreed with our assessment, and that we needed a new water heater. He wasn't planning on working today, but seeing our dead water heater, he decided to come and help us. Seriously, how many plumbers would do that on Xmas Eve?!? Thank you, Andy!!!

We decided, to respect his time since he was suddenly working on Xmas Eve, he would take a couple other house calls while my husband and I went to buy the water heater. When he returned, he spent 4 hours removing our dead water heater and installing our new heater.

Andy is incredibly detail oriented. He pointed out several ways in which our old water heater (installed several owners ago!) was not up to code, from non-functional earthquake straps to unsoldered copper pipes! (Yikes!) The new copper pipes he soldered was routed like a pro (I'm an engineer, and it was exactly how I would have wanted it! Keep in mind, I did NOT direct/ask for the routing, he just did it like a boss!).

There was a minor mishap, which is why it's a 4-star rating instead of 5-star, but I won't go into it because his overall work quality is spot on. Plus, we're all human, so we all make mistakes.

I tried to offer him food/drink along the way to express my gratitude for his work, but all he would take was one Coke Zero and a hot coffee.

Overall, my husband and I very much enjoyed working with Andy. He was professional, kind, considerate, and did an amazing job ALL ON XMAS EVE! Thank you, Andy!!!

I had a very major clog in our house caused by roots in the main line in front of the house. Andrew reached out within an hour of me filing a request on Yelp and came by to look at the issue a few hours later. He used a camera to diagnose the issue, and we created a plan for installing a two-way cleanout and doing a trenchless replacement of the line in front of the house. He helped fix a very stressful situation quickly, and was great to work with throughout the process.

Reasons Andrew stood out:
1) Really prompt, professional, and knowledgeable.
2) Didn’t try to over-sell me. Gave reasonably priced solutions and tradeoffs of different approaches to fixing. I insisted on a larger upgrade of the plumbing system, and he was able to work with me on my goals.
3) Fast - was able to do a very major plumbing job the next day.
4) Quality - the work was done flawlessly. He left the area clean, and did a very thorough job with permits.
5) Price - he did the work for a very fair price.

It’s hard to get excited by a plumbing system, but getting to see the high quality work Andrew completed and knowing it’s a solution that will likely outlive me makes me feel ecstatic. Will definitely call him for all future plumbing needs.

I called Comet Plumbing on July 4, 2012 to deal with a sewer backup. Andrew, the owner, arrived within an hour (on a holiday!). He was recommended by a neighbor who used him to replace a sewer line. I also needed a sewer line replacement. I am a general contractor, and I appreciate the quality of his work, plus HE is the person running the job, so his service is first rate. Andy went above and beyond. When we had plumbing issues, he was able to help us troubleshoot the same day, showed us a picture of our pipes to explain the issue, and gave us a fair quote for the suggested followup work. His attention to detail for the little things really showed in the final work, you basically cant tell that there is an entirely new pipe under our house.

Andy got a repeat customer, and I could not recommend him more highly if you are considering a Plumber.

I called Comet plumbing because I needed an estimate on making a sewer clean out in my yard. I left a message on their phone and Andrew, the owner called back within a few hours. When he came to give us an estimate he made us aware of a better less intrusive solution. His price was the lowest! We hired him. He made an extension to the beginning of our sewer. His work was done quickly and well. He let us watch while he put a camera down the sewer and showed us that everything was in order in our sewer. We will use Comet Plumbing for any sewer type problems from now on.

We have recently moved into a new house and experienced some plumbing issues. At our friend's recommendation, we asked Andrew to come and look at them. Andrew was able to find a number of problems that were missed during inspection, and fixed them quickly at reasonable rates. Andrew is professional and honest.
