Plumbing reviews in Westminster, Colorado

They never told me the price and they come to the house and say it's $150 to blow out the sprinklers. This was $40 last year. Adjusting rating from 1 to 3 star, as the owner reached out to make it right. Once they do, will adjust from 4-5 star, depending on price. $60-$80 is quite fair, in this economy. Thank you
The owner never reached out. Reverting to 1 Star -
Wes and team did awesome job clearing main pipe line at 11pm at night. Also fixed tub pipe at a reasonable price.

They did come promptly and resolve my issue but the whole transaction felt really shady. The technician asked for cash for a lower price. The price overall was exorbitant—even for the weekend. If you’re desperate, they respond super quickly. I recommend bargaining a little on the price, because they highball it.

I have now used My Buddy The Plumber twice and can honestly say they have a customer for the future. Each tech has been beyond patient, explaining not only what the cause(s) are, but also all options to fix it. When we plan to update our downstairs toilet we will be using them no doubt. Shout out to Paul for his helpful service and professionalism!

I honestly can't say enough good things about this company. Paul in general was an absolute gentleman and did not take no for an answer. He fixed my problem, busted his ass and mounted my toilet complimentary when he was done.
Definitely recommend this company. If you have the pleasure of working with Paul even better. -
Very poor communication and clarity on the issue at hand. We had the sewer line repair and scope of work approved by the company, then following 2 days of "work" they completely flipped the script.. It went from a simple sewer line repair, to an "Emergency full sewer line repair" and saying that the initial scope of work and repair was no longer feasible, and the new scope of work was 6x the original cost. Only after combatting this did the truth come out, that the initial scope of work would be completed. Watch out for scare tactics

Excellent work done with time and precision.
We live in a rural area up a steep dirt drive, thanks for coming out to us guys, we are going to enjoy that new outdoor water spigot!
Also gave us some notes for whoever does the drywall after, so nice! -
Paul came to help us out last night with a broken water line. He was very helpful and kind. We were pretty upset because this had happened in another house with a lot of damage. The leak was stopped and he rescheduled a tech to come out today to finish up the repair. He even threw out ice melt for us on our driveway at 11:30 PM because it was very slick after refreezing. I would call them again for another issue.

First, I really appreciate that My Buddy works evenings, weekends, and holidays- the times it is most crucial for plumbing help - thank you. So, yes, returning from vacation we had a massive clog in the kitchen sink and the normal liquid cleaner and plunger fixes did not work so …. we ended up connecting with My Buddy who would come out on a Saturday evening on Thanksgiving weekend! Vince was our plumber. He was polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and got right to work with his snake machine. He explained what he was doing, cleaned up as he worked and at the end, ran hot water for a good length of time to help flush the line, test for other blockages, as well as testing the connections for leaks. Vince was professional and talked about other services we might need and told us there was a 30 day warranty for the drain cleaning. We are quite happy with our experience and would recommend this family run company.

We cleaned and scoped our house before we bought it and agreed on $2,500 worth of repairs that needed to be done to the sewer line. When the repair time rolled around (3 weeks later), the techs made up fake damage to the sewer line (and didn’t record the scope) and tried to get us to commit to $11,000 worth of “emergency repairs”. When we showed them the video of our first scope the story started changing and it was apparently a miscommunication, and they were worried about some wear and tear that might be an issue “5-40 years down the line”. After 4 days of technicians in our house for a 45 minute repair, I can guarantee that the techs were trying to inflate damage to charge us more. The owner seems like a decent guy. He wasn’t around for the first few days and seemed to get everyone on the same page on the 4th day when the initial repair finally happened.

A couple of months ago I had a hidden wax ring leak and called this company. I think his name was Derek who came out and found the leak and stopped it. I was charged 750 dollars. Derek was good to work with and seemed knowlegable, and he told me that the flange was to low in my flooring which caused the leak (that is another story).
I had to have a restoration company come and demo my bathroom and the flooring was ripped out along with my vanity and sink, leaving open pipes. The restoration company doesn't remove toilets but they lifted it enough to rip the flooring out from underneath, leaving me with sewer gas coming out of both the exposed pipe and toilet flange. I called this company to come, move the toilet, and install test plugs to stop the sewer gas from coming out until I got a rebuild of my bathroom. I was told when i called that a tech would come out and reseal my toilet. I had to explain my need a few times telling her that my bathroom is completely demolished, my bathroom is not being used, and I'm waiting for a rebuild and I needed the sink pipe and toilet flange plugged to stop the sewer gas. She sent the tech out ( I don't remember his name) and he told me that he could reseal the toilet and I should have water in my p-trap so it couldn't be coming from the toilet flange and that I shouldn't be having a problem with sewer gas, and asked me if it could be coming from something else. I explained, again, and again, and again, that I don't want my toilet resealed, and I wanted the toilet moved and a test plug installed in both the flange and the sink pipe. He stepped out a few times to call someone about what to do, like it was an act of congress to simply put plugs in and not reseal the toilet. Keep in mind that my bathroom was demolished and the floor ripped out with the sink pipe hanging free and smelling terrible. After being through so much already, I felt so frustrated I was on the verge of tears with how difficult it was to have this simple thing done. Finally he got approval to put in the plugs, but didn't have what he needed in the van, so he had to go and get the supplies. After about an hour he came back and put in the test plugs. That cost 550 dollars. A few days later, I noticed the smell of sewer gas in my bathroom but thought it was residual, but after looking closely at the test plug in my flange I saw that the tech didn't screw it in properly and it wasn't flush, leaving a small space between the plug and the flange where sewer gas was still escaping. I was dealing with a lot at the time and wanted to spare myself any further frustration with this company, so I filled a plastic bag full of dirt and set it on top of the test plug. I also asked to have Derek call me to get more information about his observations about the flange being too low in my flooring so I could pursue the person who installed my floor for damages, but he never called and this company never sent me a detailed report about it after I requested it.
Both techs didn't have necessary parts on thier vans and had to leave and come back about an hour later and that probably increased my charges as well. This company is very expensive especially when the installation of test plugs weren't done correctly at the cost of 550 dollars. Looking back, the test plugs are something I should have just done myself and it would have been done right and I would have saved me hundreds of dollars. I gave 2 stars because Derek was good, and both techs came out quickly, but I will be using a different plumbing company in the future. -
I cannot be more grateful to My Buddy! I was in the midst of make a belated Friendsgiving and our pipes backed up in our basement. Within ONE HOUR, they were here, quickly fixed the issue, and the price was so reasonable for how quick and great they are! Thank you, Paul!!

In a word, "Unbelievable". Emergency, broken water line last night, the day before Thanksgiving. Occupant had family coming over. Wes was out in less than an Hour! Handled it and wrapped it up. They were there until 1:30AM! Your company is truly an asset. Thank you, Chad Hart

We had a problem with our septic pump on a Sunday afternoon and called them. Paul showed up quickly and worked straight through until 8 PM to get everything fixed — even brought a pump truck to drain the tank on the spot. You don’t see that kind of dedication every day, especially on a Sunday! Super grateful for the fast, friendly, and reliable service. Highly recommend!

Five stars for My Buddy The Plumber! Wes (or Wesley) was polite, efficient, and professional. They responded quickly, contacted me before arrival, diagnosed the issue, and gave a fair quote. Everything was wrapped up neatly. Highly recommend and would call them again!

Paul showed up on time and was extremely polite. When entering our home, he made sure his boots were clean. We appreciated that gesture. Once Paul was notified of the situation he assessed the situation and found the problem. Paul showed us what the issue was and explained, in great detail of what was going on and how to fix the problem.
Paul was extremely polite and courteous the entire time he was here, which was not long. His services were just as awesome as Paul was.
Thank you, Paul and, “My Buddy the Plumber” for the very very quick action. My Buddy The Plumber had quoted Paul to be at our home, in less than an hour. Paul arrived in less than 30 minutes. Outstanding customer service, all around. -
Excellent service, attitude, and professionalism from Paul and Isaac. As a business owner myself, I realize how hard it is to find really good employees that care about their work and have integrity for their brand.
Once you find a good plumber, stop looking elsewhere, Thomas and His crew at My Buddy the Plumber are my choice from now on for any Plumbing issues. I recommend them highly. -
Friendly, professional, and truly looking out for his customers. He scoped my sewer line and did a full sewer clean, and while doing so discovered that the disconnected sewer line was caused by another company. Instead of pushing me to hire him right away, he walked me through all my options and even advised me to check whether we could submit a warranty claim first before spending any money. He answered every question I had and made sure I understood the situation completely. It’s clear he values honesty and long-term relationships over quick profits. I highly recommend him.

I had a valve in my sprinkler box that was leaking and caused one of my sprinkler zones to continue running after the set sprinkler time. 2 techs came out to look at it and stated I had a crack in the top of a valve that was causing a leak and that I needed a new valve and new water lines which would cost $680+ with labor to fix. Due to the leak being on the top of the valve, I just bought a new valve from Ace Hardware for $34 and replaced the top my current valve and it has fixed the issue. I’m unsure what liability the company would carry doing a simple fix like this, but the quote I received seemed excessive for the job needed to fix it. The techs who showed up were very polite, professional, and able to diagnose my issue in a timely manner though.

Well here it was Sunday night at 10 pm. My call was at 10 pm and by 1030 pm we're at my door. I had a major backup where sewage was in my bath tub and neither of my toilets flushed. I called two other well know companies and was told by one they could come out the following morning and the other only let me leave a message. No one called back. By 1230 AM the job was done. Paul snaked the line numerous times to be sure it was completely clear. Very professional and courtious. The cost was very reasonable. I would not hesitate to use their service in the future. If you need a plumbing company My Buddy the Plumber is the one to call.
Thank you Paul for being here. -
I’ve used My Buddy The Plumber several times now and I would just like to take a moment to think them for their incredible service and response! Unlike many other plumbing companies in the industry, they are very honest truthful, and will always diagnose the problem with efficiency and ease!
Thank you, Johnny For coming out after hours to take a look at our sewer and fixing the problem right Then and there we really appreciate your help, and I definitely will be using you in the future!
