Thermo Direct does not disappoint. This company is excellent all the way around. We are very pleased in every aspect. Thank you for consistency and excellency.

Installed new Daiken heat pump , ewc control board, Daiken thermostats and also a normal water heater. After some warranty work for a few weeks, the Daiken heat pump is up and running (they had to call Daiken tech support ). Techs have been nice and on time, with text reminders. They are respectful and wear shoe covers. I found Thermo via Duke Referral program, and they did heat pump rebates for me. So far so good.

Michael was very courteous, personable and helpful. He was willing to help and hear our concerns. Also was prompt and knowledgeable .

I had a wonderful experience working with Felipe from Thermo Direct! From start to finish, he was professional, knowledgeable, and respectful. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions with patience, and made sure I felt confident about the service being provided. Felipe’s attention to detail and friendly personality made the entire process stress-free. I can’t say enough good things about Quan and Thermo direct. we had a major plumbing issue this week and Quan and a few other techs came out multiple times took lots of time with us explained things and generally helped to calm down a really stressful situation. I’ve requested Quan to come back to do subsequent work 2 other times since I first met him. His level of service is excellent and he is a professional, easy-going and kind man.

Rowley was fantastic and thorough. He showed me how my system was working, used diagnostic tools and was also very positive in spirit.
He was quick, efficient and fixed our problem.

Michael Tuck was the nicest, most knowledgeable and patient man. He actively listened to our concerns, about size and cost of the unit; and the fact that we had been turned down for financing several times. Tuck suggested we try going through our gas company. We agreed and sat back and watched God work through Tuck to get us the right unit with no money down. He thoroughly explained how ThermoDirect determines the right HVAC unit for your house. Every other estimator just suggested the same over-sized unit that they saw attached to our house. I believe we'll be saving money for years to come. Tuck was so personable I think he might have convinced me to go ahead and have my knee replaced. He and I walked around my house like the walking wounded relating to each others pain. Tuck is our angel sent from heaven. Thank you Tuck.

Got referred by the Duke Find it app. Currently experiencing issues with my hot water heater leaking. First company, I called didn’t make me feel like I was making a good decision. Decided to get a second opinion. Contacted Thermo Direct (glad I did) and scheduled a consult for the next day. Prior to arrival, they reach out via text/email with a link that allows you track how far the tech is out. The tech Philip arrived within a reasonable time. He examined the hot water heater and explained things in layman terms. Once done, I was shown pricing options with additional warranty option, with no pressure to make a decision right away. Would highly recommend based on response time, pricing and experience.

The young man that came to my home to do a maintenance check on the AC Heat unit. Was very professional, I did find it amusing that we both had the same last name. But seriously he did a great job.

Israel was incredible. He originally installed our upstairs hvac in April and there was an issue with the heat portion of the system that went unused up until recently. He came out, diagnosed the issue and had it fixed within a couple hours. He was also extremely informative throughout the process of the fix and can’t thank him enough for the incredible service. I recommend Israel and Thermo Direct to everyone looking for hvac services.

Michael Speich was our plumber. He called prior to arrival, introduced himself, assessed the problem, replaced our garbage disposal, and cleaned the area under our sink where he was working. He also gave me cleaning tips to prolong the life of the disposal and passed along warranty information.

David came out to install a new water heater. He got the job done in less time than I thought it would take. Thermo direct was also the most affordable quote I found. David was on time, very polite & made sure everything was in good working order before leaving! I would recommend thermo direct for any plumbing services you need!

We had a frozen water pipe during the freeze 01/2026. Thermo Direct was very professional, responded quickly with a callback while being very busy. Kwan was our tech, very friendly, professional, helped us with our situation and gave us advice to help us in the future. We were very pleased, will use their service again.

Silas was very professional and knowledgeable with an approachable personality. He was informative and explained the service details in terms that I would understand. He also offered helpful suggestions on ways to extend the life of my system and also the additional services available to support this approach. My second visit from Marc and his apprentice Zylon, this time to make space in my 200 amp Electrical Panel and run power to a new mini-split heat pump. Right on time. Did a great job. EVEN BETTER THAN WE PLANNED. ooked at and fixed, a minor problem. Gave us some good advice. Thery were courteous and professional.

Excellent communication, honest and detailed in inspection of current equipment and detailed in all levels of replacement equipment. Excellent listening skills with NO ‘upselling’ of equipment. Received exactly the information I requested and a clear explanation of all differences between the various equipment and components between the Daikin and the Goodman brands. Also received an immediate written quote on each system for comparisons. An excellent meeting throughout.

Two men came out, identified themselves as there from Thermo and began the disassembly of the old furnace, removing it in pieces, removed the old PVC pipes, and then brought in the new Goodman furnace and installed it. They replaced the plastic exhaust pipes with metal exhaust pipes, then went on the roof and installed the pipe caps and black boots, sealing the roof, all included in the cost of the furnace installation. They spent most of the day and into the early evening working on everything, checking out everything to ensure everything involved with the new furnace was working exactly as required, cleaning up after the installation, and removing all debris. They also installed a new thermostat and two safety CO2 detectors. They also discovered an issue with the other furnace and corrected that as well, at no charge, which wasn’t part of the installation. They were efficient, polite, HIGHLY professional, explained everything if we had any questions, and overall all, I wish ALL tradesmen were as honest and professional as these two men are. They are always welcome to install or service our systems anytime. We plan on having a new Goodman A/C unit installed this summer so I’m sure they will return again. Many thanks for all your help!! Excellent and highly detailed exam of our house as we prepared to replace our hvac. Michael Tuck did an excellent job and gave a persuasive overview of Goodman HVAC equipment.

Installation began 5 days later after reviewing bids and impressions from 4 HVAC firms.

Thermo Direct installation crew did a great, efficient job. Removed and installed new HVAC & furnace in 6 hours. They were very polite and answered every question and did a nice cleanup.

Came back following day for repair work on original duct work and exhaust vent. Excellent attention to detail. Furnace working well.
So far, a 5 star experience beginning to end. Austin and crew did an outstanding job.

Ben Adams did a great job! He was on time, provided a heads up when he was on the way, respectful of property, reviewed photos of my equipment and answered all questions. My regular maintenance plan ensures the new installation their company did lasts and is preventative so I don't have to worry about hot summers or cold winters.

The individual installers are excellent. As a large company that visits my community in N. Durham frequently, I have confidence that if I need support, it will be available. The automated text and email systems need work but that is a minor inconvenience. The process of inspecting, purchasing and installing the water heater was easy and the support staff in the office and dispatch were very helpful.
