Had to replace my whole heat pump system. They were busy, but worked to get me done the day after I called. They explained everything to me, did no collateral damage, and helped me set up the wifi on the thermostat. Couldn't be happier.

Gober Heat & Air is excellent! The staff (Michelle and Dana) are helpful and Kenny, who we’ve had service our house the most, is a very experienced technician, is honest, knowledgeable, efficient and thorough. We just had a new motor put into an old furnace (actually at my in-lawn’s house, since the ball bearings had gone out. Billy, their other very experienced technician did the work this time. He is just as capable as Kenny.

We’ve been using Gober Heat & Air for several years, but really have gotten to know them better when we had to have a new heat and air system put into the house that our son is now renting from us. I highly recommend Gober Heat & Air and everyone that works there (including the owner, but I forgot his name).

I had a poor experience with this company. I was interested in duct cleaning for our house. I called them because they had good reviews and on the website it says free quote and free estimate. I told the lady my concerns, she gave me pricing for the duct cleaning over the phone. I also informed the lady that we were worried we might have mold but we did not know for sure. She mentions we might need completely new ductwork, we set an appointment to have a technician come look at my system. The technician shows up and he didn't know the purpose of the visit. I told him everything and he took off a floor vent or two and glanced down there, he looked at the outside of our two ceiling vents but didn't take the vent cover off to look inside. He did look at the furnace itself. He didn't like diagnose the problem or give me context or reasons about what needs to be done. He asks me if I want to do repairs to fix the rust in the floor vents, and I was like how much would that be? He said he didn't know and he would have to get "the salesman" to drive out to my house to give pricing. He honestly just seemed kind of new. He asked me if I wanted to do the duct cleaning but he didn't even look at the ceiling ductwork I didn't even know if it was necessary, I was just turned off at this point. When you call an HVAC company I'd expect a professional technician to come look at the problem and give you a recommendation on what needs to be done. Two weeks later I get an invoice of $81 for a diagnostic fee. I double checked the website and it says "free quote" and "free estimate", I called them to ask about the charge and was told the free estimate is only for installs, not repairs. I feel deceived and think they should tell people there's a diagnostic fee ahead of time.

Technician was friendly and helpful and explained what he was doing. Showed up quickly and communicated arrival time well. He replaced the capacitor and the air started working again. He wanted to stay longer to make sure the house got cooler, I made it clear I was happy with the repair as is and didn’t want to incur additional charges for waiting for the house to get cool. He said 30mins is included with the $79 service charge so I let him stay a while. He was there and gone within 30 mins and the cost was $272 for diagnostics and capacitor replacement. If the service charge covers 30mins and a capacitor costs $50 I felt the charge was excessive but agreed and paid. Stopped working next day and talked to Michelle about the cost and she said that the charges were correct and so I chose to go with somebody else for the second round of repair.

The man that came was Very friendly and professional. Fast and Quick! Did a great job With the air conditioning and getting it fixed !

Our air conditioner was blowing hot air on the two hottest days of the year. I placed a work order thru leasing agent explaining my husband takes many medications,. Austin came out on Sunday evening with concerns after reading work order .He said if they would of had a loaner window unit he would have installed it. After approval from leasing agent! Austin and another gentleman came Thursday and replaced unit in timely manner. Very professional and kind! Gober please acknowledge your guys for being reliable and efficient!

We have used Gober Heat & Air a couple of times this year. They are always prompt and get us up and running in no time. Jason was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Jason came out & serviced my AC & added freon. He was very knowledgeable & did an excellent job. I hope to have him back when I need AC work again.

Air conditioner failed. Gober came right away. Though old unit, they were able to get it running again by replacing capacitor and condenser fan motor, and cleaning condenser and stationary coils, all at a reasonable price. Invoice describes clearly what was done, and, in simple language, the effect of each service on the functioning of the air conditioner.

It was a pleasure to do business with them.

Jason arrived on time and did a great job, he helped me move my washer to clean behind it too. He is very nice and friendly , I will definitely use Gober Heat and Air next year when I need to have my dryer vent cleaned again. Michelle answers the phone and schedules the service calls and she is very nice and efficient!

Great service, I needed a mini split I installed in my work trailer vacuum tested and checked for leaks. Jason came out and got it checked and running. Good price and communication. The dispatcher Michelle was so helpful in working with me being on the road and having to meet their tech in a parking lot. Great company and great crew. Thanks Gober Heat and Air.

Jason was amazing. He took care of everything and kept me appraised of his progress. He had to work late to get us done and I so appreciate it. We went from 83 down to 69 the next morning, just like he said it would. I will always use this company!

We had our entire unit inside and out replaced not long ago and they were AMAZING! They came out and looked at everything gave us quotes on our options and would have replaced it all in the same week but we had to put it off a week due to our schedule. They took less than 5 hours to do the job and our unit is AMAZING. My husband is half polar bear and it easily keeps our home at 67 WITHOUT running all day long. If your looking for professional, quick and trustworthy Gober is what your looking for!

The first visit I had with Gober Heat and Air on 6/30 was great. My AC had shut off. Chris cleaned the unit and was able to restart it. No other parts of the AC system were checked. I paid in cash and later noticed I wasn’t given a receipt. Two weeks later I noticed the humidity on my thermostat being very high 89%, so I called them on 7/17 and asked if they could come check because I didn’t want to have a leak. Chris was going to reattach the drain and did tell me that the pan had a leak, but I was never told that I should probably turn off the air completely if I didn’t want to end up with water coming through the ceiling. I feel like that would have been the most solid advice. I was given a quote for $540 to move the coil and do some work that would buy me time with the unit, but being that the AC is 16 years old, I told them I’d think about it. Only 3 hours later on 7/17, water started leaking from my ceiling. I called the company, who had no one on hand to send over. They said it would be Tuesday but didn’t know when. On Tuesday I hoped to hear from them - I was busy getting quotes for a new unit. I would have hired Gober but they said it would be around $11k. Unfortunately, I never got a call back about someone coming out. Between 7/17 and 7/20 I used portable AC units and fans and only used my main AC sporadically, but still ended up with a lot of water damage. It would have been nice to get a call back from them or maybe a suggestion to turn the AC off completely. Today, 7/20/23, I called the office to let them know that the water infiltration was pretty bad. When I talked to Michelle on the phone to inform her I had extensive water damage, the response was, “thanks for letting us know”.

Absolutely the best! Extremely punctual and great service! Jason was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything and was incredibly thorough! Definitely call them!
