My plumber, Johnny, and his companion were lifesavers today. I have had ongoing issues with a deep, in-ground leak for a month an a half that left us without potable water. We had to buy gallons of water to drink and we had to leave the water turned off because the leak was so significant that it was pouring gallons and gallons into the yard every hour, as well as pulling in dirt and debris from the hard and spitting it out of the pipes.

We pre-dug our hole over the last few weeks because we had really bad roots and thick clay soil, and we couldn't afford to have someone excavate it. The guys were able to widen the hole we'd dug, fix the pipe with a more flexible option to avoid future breaks, and fill everything back in in about 2 hours. It was significantly cheaper than many other quotes we had received from other plumbers, but I don't feel like we sacrificed quality for that lower price point.

This team will definitely be my go-to for future plumbing work because I felt heard, seen, and helped. I cannot emphasize enough how life changing it is to have access to our water again without having had to pay thousands of dollars for excavation and fancy equipment. Thank you for all your help!

Cris and James again provided professional service on repair visit. They completed the job which involved hookup of a small water heater in a tight kitchen space. I would highly recommend this duo for any plumbing issues.

Cris and his assistant were very friendly and professional and got right down to business. Cris was able to diagnose exactly what needed to be done and was able to remove a stubborn rusted cap to run snake find the blockage. They worked together to break up blockage and took the time required to be sure the problem was fixed by running a deep fill on my washing machine and then draining it. They put everything back in place and presented a reasonable bill. They exceeded my expectations which rarely happens.

Chris and his assistant from Big City Plumbing came out to fix a water leak outside my home. They were able to quickly identify the source of the leak, and Cris explained everything clearly, and got straight to work. The repair was done thoroughly and did a great job. They also cleaned up after themselves and made sure everything was working perfectly before they left.

Raffaella was very helpful and dispatched a crew the same day as my issue (a leaking shower drain). Cris and another gentleman came in the early afternoon, diagnosed the issue and even had to leave to find a specific part at a local hardware store. Everyone was great. Luis was very kind, patient, and explained things to me in away I’d understand it. He was very professional and had amazing customer service! Our shut off valve on the water heater was super far back so he went above and beyond and moved it forward to where I would be able to reach it!

Fast response. Called me back on a Sunday the same day I sent over information online and called me first thing Monday morning just as they indicated they would. Came out right away and even sent a text message with a picture so I’d know who to expect at my door. Chris discovered the issue right away and repaired it within an hour. Happy customer!

Cris from Big City Plumbing did an excellent job installing my RPZ backflow and completing the CSI inspection. He was prompt, professional, and courteous throughout the whole process. Honest, Fair, Truly Professional, that was my experience with Big City Plumbing.

I had a failed 6 port distribution manifold between the 1st floor ceiling and second story floor that was leaking through the ceiling.

After a referral from by buddy I called Big City Plumbing and explained my situation to Rafaela who was super polite and NOT PUSHY. I explained there was a newborn in the house and would like a plumber ASAP so she checked for me was able to set me an appointment for just a few hours later.

I was also able to send them some pix and short video by text so they could see and give me their perspective and a reasonable estimate based on that they could see - THAT WAS SUPER COOL. They confirmed they could do it and explained it might be more or less once the plumber reviewed it in person.

I got a call 30 mins before the plumber (Cris) was going to arrive, just as they said I would.

Within a few minutes of arriving, Cris and his awesome apprentice Jason, (I hope I remembered that correctly) reviewed the issue and told me he would get this done quickly and that it would actually be LESS than the quote - even after making me a custom part! They were both quick, clean, courteous and professional. Cris answered all my question and didn’t seem bothered by them neither.

While doing the repair, Cris explained some piping was not secured correctly and he secured with proper strapping. After the repair they reviewed what they did, checked for leaks and covered the hole in the ceiling with plastic so I would NOT have an exposed open hole – THATS COMPLETE AND THOUROUGH SERVICE.

Like most people I talk to I find it hard to find a good trade business that hits all the marks. I really was expecting to pay more considering it was a same day service call, and that the part I needed was a specialty part.

I usually don’t write recommendations as I am rarely satisfied and busy. Well Big City Plumbing took such good care of me, I just couldn’t not write a review. I BELIEVE YOU WILL BE EXTREMELY SATISFIED AS I WAS!

We called this morning for a leaking waterheater. Big City was at our home by 1:00 PM. Gave us a price that we agreed on And Chris and Felix had the new waterheater installed in a couple of hours. Chris and his helper Felix were very courteous, kind, and certainly professional. Left the job like no one had been there. Were very pleased with the price, warranty, and workmanship! Decided to use Big City Plumbing after doing some research online and was not disappointed. Not only did Chris and Paul conduct themselves professionally throughout the entire process, but they resolved my clogged pipes restoring service to my septic system quickly. Chris even offered to fix my septic cleanout just cause he had extra parts, thank you! Highly recommend these guys for all your plumbing needs.
