Appliance Repair reviews in Vancouver, Washington

No waiting around for Igor, he was right on time. I explained my dryer’s problem and he went right to work. In a few minutes he was able to diagnose the problem. He offered suggestions as far as what repairs were needed, and what I also might consider as he was already working on the machine. Over all I was pleased with Master Appliance Repair. Igor was on time, knowledgeable, had the parts with him, and I thought the repair charge was very fair. I’ll call them again.

One of the best experiences I have had with any business. Our ovens went out the week before Thanksgiving. Igor was able to diagnose, order parts and repair before the holidays. He is so professional and attentive.

This is a 5 star review for Igor. He was quick to help, assess, give us options to choose from, advise us and correct the issues with our washing machine. We are grateful for professional service providers like him we can trust!

Igor responded instantly to our inquiry about a clogged freezer defrost drain in our GE refrigerator. He disgnosed the problem and performed the repair on the spot for a fair price.
Highest recommendation - we'll certainly use him in the future for any appliance repair issues! -
Igor is so good. He really takes his time to do everything perfectly and makes sure it’s working properly and cleaned. He’s also fair and fits you in so you don’t have to wait too long. Highly recommend.

John was an amazing technician. Our freezer stopped working and when the answer wasn’t immediately clear, John leaned in and diligently worked to fix the problem. He maintained a professional and friendly attitude the whole time, despite the frustrating situation. John is an asset to the Appliance Hospital team - thank you John! I hope he works at this location so he can be recognized.

Stitch was an absolute gem! After a year of people giving us the run around or not knowing what they were talking about he was friendly, helpful, and efficient.

5 stars for sure!! From start to finish, Appliance Hospital had our best interest at the forefront while navigating our sub-zero refrigerator repair. It was a long process because we needed to order a part but the situation was handled as best it could with both Appliance Hospital and Sub Zero communicating. Both companies truly cared that we were satisfied with the service and parts replacement.

We have had an ongoing problem with our $3K+ Kitchenaid downdraft that's just about 4 months old. Docter Jeff came to our rescue. From the beginning he has made every effort to come out as soon as possible, even on Saturday, to fix a combination of problems. He was very efficient and pleasant to work with. He explained exactly what he was doing and what he fixed, and we have complete confidence in him. Will definately use them again.

A technician came out to service our new Whirlpool Ice Maker which had failed under warranty. A few weeks later he returned as the icemaker failed again. He was polite and professional; we had no issues with the service call, and he explained he would need to come back a third time to replace the power cord. Our entire interaction with him on both visits could not have been more than 10 minutes, and it was pleasant on both sides. We thanked him for coming out to take care of us. However, that afternoon we received a call from the Appliance Hospital office informing us that the tech would not be returning as he had “relationship issues” with us – as we asked questions, we figured out we know his ex-wife. My wife had worked with his ex-wife over 5 years ago while the two were still married, and the two women have stayed in touch causally. While we thought the whole situation odd (the divorce was several years ago) we accepted that the company didn’t want to force him to return to complete the work due to his apparent discomfort being in our home.
We were shocked when the manager of the Appliance Hospital then told us they would NOT send a different tech to finish the repair (they service all of Portland Metro, so we are assuming they have more than one technician) and we needed to call Whirlpool and ask for another company to complete the repair, and she texted the number for Whirlpool to us. She specifically said that since our home was this technician’s ‘territory” and since he would not service our home, they would not service us AT ALL– even though we have been customers of theirs for years. We then asked about future repairs that we might encounter, and we were told not to call them again if we need service on our Thermador appliances (which they had previously serviced). So, we were refused future service because we know an employee’s ex-wife! How many other customers are going to refused service because a customer knows a tech’s ex-spouse?
To restate: We had no issue with the service technician, he did a great job with the work. We respect the company’s decision not to make an employee go into home that makes him “uncomfortable”. We WOULD expect if they make that decision they would have an alternative tech available. We will be calling Whirlpool per the manager’s suggestion to discuss our dilemma and share how the management at Appliance Hospital determines whether to support a warranty service call for them.
Meanwhile, we're about a month since our first call for repair. -
Appliance Hospital is fantastic. It’s our go to company for repairs on our Wolf Range. The service technician, Doug, is very conscientious.

Don came over and fixed things up real quick, very kind very knowledgeable, got our oven working in no time.

The repair doctor arrived in good time and was done right at the end of his arrival window, so timing worked out well. He quickly diagnosed the problem with our range and had the needed part in his van. Very satisfied with how it turned out.

Stitch, the technician from Appliance Hospital in Portland OR, was on time and diagnosed a clogged (by ice) drain in the Liebherr freezer compartment. He defrosted it and did not need to replace any parts.

Jeff has been amazing. He has been out to fix our Jenn Air oven 3 times in the last 3 years not because of his skills but because Jenn Air ovens suck and are notorious for control panel and ACU issues. He has advised me on things I should do to try and minimize these issues- which are all Jenn Air related problems. Appliance Hospital has always been on top of repairs and manufacturers warranties.

Their technician Nick was awesome. Everyone I talked to in their office was great. Everything went very smoothly, got our washer fixed, and it was quick! I work in the customer service industry and these guys have their system down and are super easy to deal with. I'll be using them for anything else that pops up!
